Progress continues at the Paros Housing, After-School & Vocational Center in Gyumri!

The building’s exterior is complete and looking great, and teams are now focused on several phases of the interior, including flooring and painting. With each stage of construction, we’re getting closer to providing 27 families currently living in domiks with a safer, more comfortable place to call home.

We’re excited to see this project continue to take shape and look forward to sharing more updates as work progresses. Thank you to everyone whose support is helping make this possible!

Talia spent three weeks in Armenia this July with SERVICE Armenia, serving in communities across the country.

Now that she’s home, Talia is continuing to support a project close to her heart: the Debi Arach Children’s Center in Gyumri. She’s still raising funds for the Center’s food program, which helps provide nutritious meals for children from vulnerable families.

Her time in Armenia may be over, but her commitment continues. Help Talia reach her fundraising goal and support the children of Debi Arach.

A day of learning and exploring new possibilities for the students of Debi Arach!

Our students recently visited IT Space, where they toured specialized classrooms and learned more about the IT Kids school. They also got an inside look at the many career paths within the IT field, from the different roles and responsibilities to the skills and education needed to pursue them.

Visits like this give students the chance to discover new interests, ask questions, and start thinking about where their own skills could take them in the future.

During SERVICE Armenia 2026, Andre chose to support the Debi Arach Children’s Center in Gyumri, a place that provides children from vulnerable families with a safe environment to learn, grow, and feel supported.

Now that he’s back home, Andre is continuing to raise funds to help provide essential humanitarian support to the children at the center.

As part of SERVICE Armenia 2026, Nico chose to support Sporting Goods for Village Schools, a project providing much-needed sports equipment to schools in rural communities across Armenia.

Many village schools have limited access to basic sporting equipment, making it harder for students to participate in sports and stay active. Nico is still raising funds to help change that, and every donation can help put new equipment and new opportunities into the hands of students.

The year’s SERVICE Armenia trip may be over, but our participants’ commitment to Armenia continues. After spending this summer in Armenia, Sabrina is continuing to raise funds for a project she participated in, Groceries for Gyumri.

Her fundraising efforts will directly help provide groceries to families in need in Gyumri, offering immediate support to families who are facing food insecurity.

She’s still working toward her fundraising goal and would love your help getting there. Every donation brings her one step closer to providing more families with the groceries they need.

Longtime Paros supporters and friends, Jean-Marie and Lori Atamian, recently visited Nerkin Karmir Aghbyur in the Tavush Region to see the home improvement and economic development projects they have supported.

They also explored future opportunities to support the local school, medical center, village homes, and economic development grants for families.

We are so thankful for their dedication to this important border community!

A Paros project in Nerkin Karmir Aghbyur is now helping shape agricultural education across Armenia!

Through our Nourishing Armenia program, the Paros Foundation funded, built, and continues to support the school greenhouse in Nerkin Karmir Aghbyur, creating a hands-on space where students can learn about agriculture, nutrition, and sustainability.

After visiting the village and seeing the greenhouse and program firsthand, representatives from KZNAK (National Center for Education Development and Innovation) selected the program developed by Paros for the greenhouse as a model for Armenia’s 2026 “Innovative Greenhouse” project.

The program will now be incorporated into state-supported extracurricular programming at schools with greenhouses across Armenia.

We’re proud to see a project built from the ground up being recognized as a model that can give even more students the opportunity to learn, grow, and get their hands in the soil.
