📣FIND YOUR QUARTET EVENT📣

Join US along with the Region 3 Winners' Circle for a Find Your Quartet event — a fun, fast-paced event designed to help barbershop singers connect and form new quartets!

Through rotating singing sessions, tags, and guided introductions, participants will have the opportunity to meet different voice combinations, explore new musical possibilities, and discover their perfect blend.

We’re especially excited to share that past Regional and International Quartet Champions, Directors, and Regional Faculty will be on-site throughout the event, offering coaching, encouragement, and expert insight as new groups begin to take shape.

Whether you’re looking for a serious competitive quartet, a casual singing group, or simply new musical connections, this event is for you!

Great Lakes Harmony Region 17 Sweet Adelines winner of the 2026 Quartet Competion is - Daybreak Quartet with 675 points! Congratulations, Daybreak! ✨🥰 We are so proud of you.

River City Sound also extends our congratulations to all of the competing Quartets and Choruses as the contest continues today.

Let us raise our glasses and toast Daybreak Quartet and Rockford’s own Master Director, Joan “Boots” Boutilier. We love you, Boots, and can’t wait to celebrate another amazing accomplishment of the 2026 Regional Competition season!

The River City Sound Chorus Sweet Adelines gathered at our Annual Installation banquet to welcome new members to the Management Team and commemorate our remarkable accomplishments at the Region 3 Sweet Adelines Competition in Milwaukee on May 1, 2026. Congratulations to our gifted Tenor/Lead, Rhonda Thayer, our newly elected Secretary. To those who missed this wonderful dinner celebration, we hold you in our hearts and look forward to seeing you on the risers next Monday evening. To Ruth Chance, our outstanding event coordinator, thank you for your tireless efforts, meticulous planning, and for being the "Leader of Fun" for River City Sound Chorus

What a weekend for River City Sound Chorus at the Sweet Adelines Region 3 Competition! 🩷🎶 Here is a recording of our live performance!!

We are so honored to have shared the stage with the incredible quartets and choruses who participated this year. Congratulations to all of the medalists on your amazing performances and accomplishments!

We are thrilled and grateful to have been named the Division AA Champions and honored to earn the title of Region 3’s 2nd Place Chorus. 🏆✨What a privilege to represent our chorus, our community, and the art form we love so much.

A heartfelt THANK YOU goes to our chorus leadership, choreography, costume, hair, and makeup teams for helping bring our performance to life. Endless gratitude as well to our hardworking music team, our beloved director, Joan Boutellier, and our amazing coach, Scott Kvigne, for your guidance, passion, and belief in us every step of the way.

Most of all, thank you to everyone who supports River City Sound Chorus and cheers us on from near and far. We can’t wait to keep singing and sharing barbershop harmony with you!

River City Sound is heading home to the stateline so proud as the Most Improved Chorus, Division AA Mid-Sized Chorus Champions, and Overall Region 3 - 2nd Place Chorus.

What a weekend to remember!

River City Sound has been singing barbershop harmony in the Rockford area for more than 40 years as a proud chapter of Sweet Adelines International, and this competition reminded us why we love this community of people so much. We are honored to have shared the stage with every chorus and quartet that was there.🩷
