Rita is available for adoption in Portland Oregon

This stunning beauty is Rita! A petite 2-3 yr old girl weighing only 13 lbs!
Rita is one of the dogs we saved in Tijuana and she is perfection! Rita loves everyone, she enjoys having dog friends and loves to play tug.

She has really caught on well to potty training and has learned quickly about going outside. She loves going for walks and enjoys being active.

Rita has some sort of damage to her tail in Mexico which has caused some damage to the nerves that handle pooping. We have been working to get that dialed in and she is doing much better. Her new owner may need to lend a hand with this occasionally and be in tune with her bowel habits to make sure she stays healthy. This is really quite easy and should not stop you from wanting this precious girl!

Dixie is available for adoption in Portland Oregon

Meet Dixie! ❤️ This sweet 9-year-old pug mix is smart, loving, and always ready for a good snuggle. She’s looking for her very own person to love and a cozy spot to curl up by their side.

Dixie loves being with her people and can get a little anxious when left alone, so she’d be happiest in a home where she doesn’t have to spend long stretches by herself. She’s a good girl who’s fully house-trained, though her feelings about the crate are a little more complicated! She’ll go in when asked and eventually settle down, but it’s definitely not her favorite place.

She loves her walks, too and certainly does not act her age. She does not have any mobility issues at all and is quite spry. When meeting new dogs, her little Chihuahua sass might make an appearance at first, but she warms up quickly and is soon happily going about her day with her new furry friends.

Dixie is the perfect match for someone looking for a loyal little shadow, a walking buddy, and, most importantly, a professional cuddle bug. If you have room on the couch and lots of love to give, Dixie might just be your girl! 🐾💕

Available for adoption in Portland Oregon

Aristocrat and Junior are 4 month old puppies that started their young lives being born under a busy overpass in Los Angeles and up until now that is the only life they have known.
Wonderful rescuers worked to secure them from the owner and then we were asked to help out. Mom is a pug and dad is a chihuahua mix.
Despite this rough start these two are typical puppies that are happy, playful and full of it!
The boys have been neutered and are available for adoption separately.

Darling bonded pair Drake and Rihanna (Riri) are extremely close and do everything together. They adore attention and cuddles from their humans as well and make the best couch buddies. Drake is 7yrs and Riri is 5yrs.

They are perfectly house trained, good on leash for walks and they snooze together at night, preferring to snuggle with their people on the bed of course! They have lived with kids and also get along well with other dogs. A fenced yard with sunning spots will be their dream come true!

Both dogs were spayed and neutered and had major dental surgery while under our care, so they are feeling great and good as new!

Drake and Riri are such a delightful pair and are ready for their loving forever home.

When Sergio was being posted for free on Craigslist we knew we had to act fast since he was a young un-neutered male...we did not want him to get in the wrong hands.
We got him all fixed up with neuter/airway surgery and some ear infections cleaned up.
When he went to meet his potential new family, he bypassed everyone and headed right for Vivien and it was love at first sight for both of them! They are now the best of friends and we are thrilled that Sergio has found his perfect home.

Forever Foster home needed!

The gorgeous June Bug is looking for a new place to crash! June's foster mama is moving to Florida so she needs to find a new home. Requirement...you must spoil her!🤣

June came to us from Mexico a few months ago and was found to have an inoperable liver shunt. She is being managed with a special diet and is so far doing very well. She is a spunky happy girl that you really would not know has any problems. That could of course change at any time, but for now she is really enjoying life.

Requirements for June (besides the spoiling) are that you live in the Portland/Vancouver Metro area. This is not negotiable, so please only reach out if you live in the area. June's specialist is here and we would like to continue her care here. She is sassy and bossy, but we think she would do fine living with other dogs as long as they are OK with her being the boss. You should have reliable transportation and be able to take her to vet visits when needed. You should be retired or work from home a majority of the time.
We will cover the cost of her medical and food, you just need to make sure she is well loved and gets to her appointments

💔 We need help for Gordita.

Gordita came to us from Tijuana. She’s about 5 years old, happy, playful, and full of life. But we’ve recently learned that she has a mass in her bladder. Thankfully, it is not cancer—but it is likely the reason she keeps developing one UTI after another.

She also has decreased kidney function, likely from infections that have been going on for quite some time. Her latest culture came back with a very drug-resistant bacteria, leaving us with some difficult choices.

She needs a powerful antibiotic injection tomorrow, followed by bladder surgery on Thursday. The antibiotic could further damage her kidneys, and the surgery carries a serious risk of the infection spreading. And even after all of this, there is no guarantee the infections won’t return.

The surgery alone is estimated at $7,000–$8,000, and that doesn’t include everything else she will need.

We have struggled with what to do. But ultimately, we believe Gordita deserves a chance. She is too young, too happy, and too full of life to give up on. ❤️

We need your help—and we need it quickly.
