We got the Ride for a Child team together one last time for the 2026 season! 💛🚴

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Wrap Party last Tuesday!

We had a great time catching up and celebrating all the hard work that made this year’s ride possible.

This year was a record-breaking year for Ride for a Child, with over $280,000 raised in support of Candlelighters! 🎉

Thank you again to everyone who made this incredible season possible. We can’t wait to see you next year as we celebrate 25 years of Ride for a Child in 2027!

For many families, a routine checkup can unexpectedly become a long hospital stay.

Dext Capital is hosting a blood drive in support of Candlelighters! 💛🩸

Blood donations are needed every day to help maintain a stable blood supply and ensure patients have access to lifesaving blood products.

For many children with pediatric cancer, blood transfusions are a vital part of treatment, recovery, and continued care.

From 9am to 2pm on Tuesday, October 27 Dext Capital will be hosting a blood drive with Red Cross Cascades Region at their Lake Oswego office 🏥

Creativity was in full bloom at our Mom's Night Out event!🌻💛

Our Mom's group got together at the Candlelighters office last week for a guided painting session by Candlelighters volunteer, Debbie.

We painted sunflowers, a flower that represents strength, happiness, and resilience–as they track the movement of the sun to grow and thrive ☀️

Thank you OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital for inviting us to their Doernbecher Picnic! 💛

Each year, Doernbecher brings together patients, survivors, families, and staff from its pediatric hematology oncology department for a fun outdoor picnic while highlighting local resources.

We had so much fun tabling, enjoying games and activities, and saying hi to some familiar faces!

Thank you again to OHSU Doernbecher for all that they do to support Candlelighters and the families we serve 🫶

Creating core memories with Oregon State Football 🦫🎗️

We were so excited to be invited by the OSU Beavers to be part of their Beaver Brave program, which gives kids facing medical challenges the chance to spend a special day with the team.

Candlelighters kids Zach and Nate joined the Beavers at their practice, getting a behind the scenes look at their facilities and running drills with the team!

Thank you to the OSU Beavers for welcoming Zach and Nate and making this experience possible. We’re so grateful to be part of such a special program.
