Hillsboro Elks Holiday Giving Program We manage a charity program that directly impacts many households within the Hillsboro School District and nearby Washington County.

The Holiday Giving Program's goal is to provide food and toys to families in need during the holiday season through community involvement and the Elks Charitable goals. Through donations, fundraising, and community collaboration, we bring food and toys to families that could use a little help for the holidays.

Amazing visit to Century High School on Friday. We went torepresent the Hillsboro Elks Lodge as well as the Holiday Giving Program in recognition of the extraordinary efforts by the students and faculty. We were lucky to attend their Service assembly, where they recognized students that have gone above and beyond in service to their community.
The leadership classes send close to 50 students over in early December to pre-load over 600 food boxes for our Christmas deliveries. Additionally, the school held a coin drive that raised $14,500! We presented them with a plaque recognizing Century High School as the undisputed District Champions in the Coin Food Drive.

The toy room crew has been hard at work. With the gifts brought in by area business and Hillsboro Fire department’s Toy and Joy program, we have assembled our family gift bags for this weekend. Thanks to all the contributors to this amazing program!

Our family nominations are in progress through Hillsboro School District and the Elks. Our new Salesforce database is working great! We will be getting the volunteer opportunities together soon. Family pickups are on Dec 20th, and the big Delivery Day is Saturday Dec 21st!
