“We are our ancestors’ wildest dreams.” 🩷💙

The theme for our Black Family Day 2026 celebration was “family reunion style”, and the day started off just like most family reunions do: at church. After some amazing praise and worship we gathered at a local park for barbecue, games, sweet treats and eats as well as recognition of our seniors and their mothers. It was great to see everyone together and enjoying the fellowship.

Congratulations to Langston Jr., Kathryn, and Christopher on graduating high school. And to our soon-to-be Associate Mothers: Angelia, Rhonda and Camille…WE LOVE YOU.

Also congratulations to our “Mother of the Year”, Mother Alicia Davis, and our “Father of the Year”, Father Ryan Rogers. Long live Jack and Jill! 🩷💙

As we close another fantastic programming year we pause to celebrate our bridging mothers as they head into life as an associate. From carpooling, planning grade group activities, dressing (and chaperoning) teens at conferences, providing guidance, wise counsel, soft love and strong conviction…these mothers have been the epitome of dedication.

Mother Angelia, Mother Rhonda, and Mother Camille, as your children venture off into the world and become the amazing young adults you’ve prepared them to be, know that we are standing with and praying for their paths and yours. We’re thankful for your service to Jack and Jill, and we’ll forever be sisters. 🩷🩵 Long live Jack and Jill!

Mothers give the world love, warmth, guidance, and that certain something that only Mothers have, and we are all better off for it.

Today and everyday, but ESPECIALLY today, we want to give flowers to the women who make and shape our worlds. The women who give so much so that children can grow into amazing people. The women that often put themselves after others.
