50 years of Great Futures in Bay City! 💙

Last Thursday, we were honored to welcome the Mayor of Bay City, Chris Girard, to our Bay City Club for a special 50-year proclamation celebrating our building and its impact on generations of local youth!

For 50 years, this building has been a place for kids to learn, grow, make friends, discover their talents, and create memories that last a lifetime. We’re so proud of the history we’ve built here and excited for all the great futures still to come!

A huge thank-you to the Mayor for visiting our Club and helping us celebrate this incredible milestone. Here’s to 50 years down and many more to come!

"What made us all equal was the activities. It didn't matter where you came from," recalled Timo Vasquez, alumnus of the Boys & Girls Club of the Great Lakes Bay Region.

From the creative trunks and costumes to all the candy, smiles, and Halloween magic, we’re so grateful for a community that shows up for our kids in such a BIG way.

A special shoutout to Members First Credit Union for donating goodie bags for our first 400 kiddos, and to all of our trunkers, volunteers, and community partners who helped make the day possible!

🎨🐴 A little creativity, a little country charm, and A LOT of fun at Kids Campus!

There’s been plenty happening at Kids Campus lately!

Last week, some of our Kids Campus staff spent their days giving the Art Room a beautiful new look! A huge shoutout to Ms. Cassie, Ms. Madison, and Mr. Saturn for coming in to bring this mural to life – and an extra-big shoutout to Ms. Cassie for creating the design! We can’t wait to see all the creativity that happens in this newly refreshed space ✨

Then yesterday, Farm Club had a very special Ride-a-Saddle Day! Our members got to dress up in Ms. Gabbi’s old show clothes, learn all about horses, and have some hands-on fun along the way.

We love seeing our Clubs create spaces and experiences where kids can learn, explore, create, and just have FUN! 💙

Your generosity is bringing warmth, comfort, and love to the kiddos in our community. We are so grateful for the time, care, and community spirit stitched into each one 💙
