Thanks to all who attended our Spartan Summer Cruise this evening!

We enjoyed the beautiful weather, admired a glowing sunset, celebrated a scholarship recipient, sang the Spartan fight song and other favorites with Josh Sharrard, dined on pierogi, chocolate covered strawberries and other treats from Krzysiak’s, sipped a few beverages, and supported our local Spartans during our cruise on Princess Wenonah.

We appreciate the efforts of Bay City Boat Lines and Bay County Spartans club members who made our biennial social another perfect night.

We were especially pleased to have Drew Andrzejewski and his parents Trisha Neitzel Andrzejewski and Jason Andrzejewski with us for the evening. Drew is one of our 2026 scholarship recipients.

We are pleased to announce our 2026 Scholarship Recipients!

• Landrey Beson – John Glenn HS
• Preston Kolm – Bay City Western HS
• Kara Kotenko – Essexville Garber HS
• Claire Rosecrans – Valley Lutheran HS

These Bay County students represent the best we have to offer and are pursuing studies in diverse fields, including packaging, accounting, business, and kinesiology.

Our club has awarded over $131,000 in scholarships since 2000.

Help us continue offering financial support to local students by attending our next event, the Spartan Summer Cruise, aboard Princess Wenonah in Bay City this Thursday, August 6, 2026. We are departing at 7:00 pm.
