LifeNets' aid continues to flow from southern Germany to Ukraine. German mayor Thomas, mayor of Rielasingen-Worblingen, Germany, who has shown genuine compassion for the Ukrainian people. His community has provided shelter for Ukrainian refugees, and he has also generously made warehouse space available to LifeNets free of charge to store and prepare humanitarian aid shipments.

Ukraine celebrated its 35th Independence Day on August 24. I am adding photos from the REVIVAL CENTER for Rehabilitation of Disabled Children that we have supported since 1996...30 years. They are 45 miles from the Russian border, and the city is sporadically hit by Russian missiles, yet their spirits are resilient. Dr. Vasyl Pasichnyk sent some photos of the children and staff on this day, always wary of sirens signaling them to head for the bunkers. Thank you all for helping LifeNets support this project for 30 years now.

Congratulatory and loving messages - on our 250 years of Independence from the REVIVAL staff in Ukraine that treats disabled children. We have worked with these people for 30 years and they are like family to us. They are 40 miles from the Russian border and the Center itself less than a kilometer from the center of the city that has been bomber several times. Let's not take our freedom for granted.

I have just received this letter from Dr. Vasyl Pasichnyk and his wife Natalia, with whom we have worked since 1996, ten years after the Chernobyl disaster. Our work led to the establishment of LifeNets in 1999. With what they have had to suffer with Chernobyl and the war with the aggressor Russia, this letter meant so much to us.
