This is what it’s all about. 🤎

We first met Nohemy years ago as a young girl attending one of our youth camps in Honduras. Today, she’s part of the United Grounds family, helping us lead teams, translate, cook, serve, and love on her own community right alongside us.

Watching her grow from a young girl we met at camp into a woman who now plays such an important role in this ministry is something incredibly special.

This is the heart of United Grounds. It’s not just about the trips we take or the things we bring. It’s about relationships that last, lives poured into one another, and raising up leaders within the communities we love.

Another testimony from our summer Honduras trip! 🇭🇳

This trip changed me forever.

At youth camp, as we prayed over the students, I felt the Lord speaking something personal for each person I prayed for. It was such an honor to be used that way.

One moment I’ll never forget was when God led me to a teenage girl who hadn’t come forward. I felt Him say, “Since she won’t come to the front, I am meeting her where she is by sending you to her.” ❤️

Another was simply holding a little girl as we worshipped. I felt the Lord say, “Don’t let go of her until she’s done getting what she needs.” It reminded me that sometimes the simplest act, like a hug, can be ministry.

A reminder that the world is bigger than our little corner of it. 🇭🇳🌎 Sometimes we get so caught up in our own little world that we forget just how much there is beyond it. Grateful for the opportunity to step outside of the familiar, meet new people, and see a little more of God’s world. ❤️

📣AUGUST BREAKFAST CANCELED📣

Out of respect and support for one of the men in our community and his family following the heartbreaking loss of his son, we have made the decision to cancel our breakfast this month, as the funeral will be held the same day.

We want to give our men the opportunity to come alongside this family, offer support, and be present during this difficult time.

Please keep the entire family in your prayers in the days ahead.

We’ll see everyone back at our next United Grounds Breakfast in September. 🙏
