🌧️ High Water Advisory – Little Miami Scenic Trail

With recent rainfall, the Little Miami Scenic Trail, which runs along the Little Miami River, may experience high water and localized flooding in low-lying sections of the trail.

This trail is a multi-use pathway within Little Miami State Park, shared by bicyclists, walkers, runners, and other visitors. Please use extra caution while recreating.

⚠️ Safety Reminders

🚴 Trail Use
• Slow down and watch for flooded areas or debris on the trail.
• Use caution when approaching corners or low spots where water may cover the pavement.
• Be mindful of other trail users and share the trail responsibly.

🌊 High Water Safety
• Do not attempt to walk or ride through flooded sections of the trail.
• Water depth and current can be stronger than they appear.
• Turn around and find an alternate route if water is covering the trail.

Thank you for helping keep the Little Miami Scenic Trail safe for everyone. Plan ahead, use caution, and enjoy the trail responsibly. 🌿🚴‍♀️🥾

Some important information about East Fork if you are planning to visit this weekend.

Some important information about East Fork if you are planning to visit this weekend.

In anticipation of hefty snow/ice this weekend, we wanted to give fair warning that our Law Enforcement will be closing gates that access our boat ramps and beaches for safety reasons. Please plan to exit from those parking lots by Saturday afternoon. (these closures will NOT be posted on Facebook, FYI...which is why we are mentioning it now 😉)

Also worth mentioning, our park roads do not always get plowed by ODOT, if at all. Traveling in our park might be downright treacherous. Our maintenance folks will do their best with the parking lot blades, but that's a tall order if it comes down quick or if ice complicates things.

Additionally, if you have business at the Administration Building on Monday (ie. boat registration or renewal), we recommend calling first to see if the administration ladies were able to make it in safely before possibly traveling unnecessarily. (513-734-2730 and hit "0"...if no one answers...we aren't there! If its busy, we don't have power!)
