Beyond thrilled with how the courts turned out!!! The last thing to be done is blended lines on the courts for youth tennis, those will go down next week. We are planning a community celebration and ribbon cutting ceremony, stay tuned on that! We love the partnership with Bethel Tate Schools and their staff, who have helped tremendously throughout this process. It’s been a long time coming for the court renovation but very much worth the wait! Also many thanks to Clermont Office of Economic Development, Clermont County Commissioners, and USTA Venue Services for believing in Bethel Area Tennis Association’s mission and providing the funding through your grants!

Our middle school girls played at Cincinnati Country Day School last Friday. It was a great experience for them!

Our fence looks awesome!! Huge thanks to Chris Foster with Foster Fencing. He did a great job and we are thrilled. Also thanks to Charles Napier ( and Brian, Shawn and Lori at the middle school) for always helping us out and supporting our mission! Thank you to Bethel Tate Schools for the partnership, we can accomplish so much by working together for our youth and community.

Special thanks to Coach Jim Combs, volleyball coach for varsity and JV volleyball for painting on the crossbars yesterday and was on the ladder all day! Along with Joe, thanks guys! That means a lot that he came out to help us!!🎾🏐🎾🏐

We were invited by Ohio Valley USTA to take six players from our middle school team to play in the Diverse Meetup during finals weekend of the Cincinnati Open! Thank you Ohio Valley for this incredible opportunity for our players. It was a great way to meet players from all across the Midwest, including Chicago, Indianapolis, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Toledo, and Detroit. And yes, little ole Bethel was right in there with them ❤️🎾😃 And to cap it off, Coco Gauff practiced two courts down from us… she won the Open!

🎾HELP WANTED: Let’s Paint!

Work is underway on the tennis court improvement project at Bethel-Tate Middle School, and the Bethel Area Tennis Association is looking for some helping hands for the next step!

🗓️ Saturday, August 29th, 2026
⏰ 10 a.m.
📍 Bethel-Tate Middle School tennis courts

Volunteers will be painting the fence posts around the courts. All supplies will be provided, and there will be jobs for volunteers on the ground as well as work using scaffolding provided by the district.

The more helpers, the quicker the work will go! By pitching in, volunteers can help the Tennis Association save on project costs and make the most of the grant and community funding supporting the court improvements.

☕ And yes, there will be coffee and doughnuts!

We are planning to paint the fence posts Saturday morning starting at 10 am at the middle school courts!! We would love to have as many helpers as possible…
Please let me know if you can come and help!! We will have doughnuts and coffee 🎾
If we get lots of helpers, it shouldn’t take too long. Let’s come together as this is huge for our community, and this is the next step in bringing us closer to getting our new tennis courts. We are trying to save money where we can in the repair project. If you can’t help, stop by and say hello! The school has graciously offered their movable scaffolding to paint the top posts. We can use plenty of ground help as well. We’ll have all the supplies ready to go. Thanks everyone!
