We are a non-profit foster based rescue, we do not have a building or shelter to visit. We hold adoption events every Saturday at PetSmart Eastgate and schedule private meet and greets with approved adopters. We adopt cats and dogs to homes throughout the Greater Cincinnati area, within a two hour driving distance of the Eastgate area. Box 681, Batavia, OH 45103

Sweet, polydactyl Loki is here, playing a game of hide and seek with the photographer, and looking for his home.

Loki has big paws, lots of toes, and is a BIG LOVER! He is so attentive. He is a big boy that wants all the food and prefers the bowl remain full. (Don't tell him, but he needs to lose a few pounds and would do great with an adopter that can give pets and keep him on a healthy diet) Loki would be a great companion pet. He is a very social cat and doesn't do well left alone long, and loves to be with his people or with other cat buddies. Loki is 4-5 years old and would thrive in a home where he has another friendly kitty to pal around with when you have to be away. Loki is a polydactyl, meaning he has extra toes, and has one orange thumb on the left front paw (see second photo). Polydactyly is generally harmless and painless, but extra toes require regular trimming to prevent them from growing into the pad. If you’d like to meet Loki, please fill out a cat adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a meet with an approved adopter! You can also meet Loki at our weekly adoption event every Saturday 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at PetSmart Eastgate. Our cats are fully vetted and we require indoor-only homes. All other pets in the home must be spayed/neutered and up-to-date on all vaccines. We will not send cats to home where they will be declawed as it is a harmful practice that can cause lifelong physical and behavioral problems. Our cats are all spayed/neutered, vaccinated, combo tested, dewormed, and microchipped.

These two are such cute cats that we just had to show how loving they are in action! These two are not bonded and share this kind of love equally to everyone, and can go to separate homes. If you are looking to add a dose of love and good luck to your home, either Pete or Clarabelle are here and ready to steal your heart.

Pete is a two-year-old absolute lovebug who might occasionally sport a hilarious grumpy-faced expression, but he is pure sweetness on the inside. He loves nothing more than giving affectionate kisses to his favorite people and is famously fantastic with other cats, dogs, and children alike. Pete has a fun-loving personality and would thrive in a home with another cat friend to run around with, or be your only cat!

Sweet Dream House Rescue ensures that all of our rescue residents are healthy, fully vetted, and prepared for their new families. Our cats come already spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, combo-tested, dewormed, and microchipped. To keep them safe and thriving, we do require an indoor-only household. We also strictly prohibit declawing under any circumstances, as it is a harmful practice that causes lifelong physical and behavioral suffering for felines. If you have other pets currently living in your home, they must also be spayed or neutered and completely up-to-date on all of their routine vaccines.

If you are looking for a lifetime full of purrs and gentle head-boops, Pudding is absolutely ready to fill your home with joy. This gorgeous two-year-old girl is a sweet, squishy shadow who loves her humans so much that she will never be far behind you. Pudding's heart is completely full, and she has more than enough affection to bring twice the love to her lucky forever family. Pudding perfectly balances her affectionate nature with a fun, youthful love for playtime. Because she enjoys playing so much, she would do wonderfully in a home that already has another friendly cat companion to keep her company: if you don't have a friendly and playful cat at home, we are happy to recommend one her cat buddies to you take home! However, she possesses such a wonderful and complete personality that she could easily be adopted to be your one-and-only furry best friend instead.

Darling DIAMOND is ready to find a home of her 0wn. Our sweet girl is doing so well after having her leg amputated due to a badly-healed, painful old injury. The pain is gone and she's navigating life very well on 3 legs. Diamond's priorities in life are sofa cuddle time and meal times. She also loves to play with her toys, tossing them into the air. Diamond is about 3 years old and fully grown at 27 pounds, housebroken, crate trained and fine with cats and dogs. Diamond would be perfectly fine as an only dog, or fine with other dogs as long as they don't expect her to play. Diamond is only interested in playing with her toys, she has no interest in other canines. She would enjoy having a physically-fenced yard where she can tool around at her own speed. Despite Diamond's love of food, it's important that her adopter doesn't let her gain weight. As a tripod she needs to maintain a healthy weight to enjoy a long healthy life. If you are looking for a brave little explorer who can perfectly match your energy and your vibe, Liah is the girl for you. This gorgeous two-year-old sweetheart brings the absolute best of both worlds into a home. She is an adventurous, playful kitty who is always the very first to pounce on a toy during playtime. However, her absolute best superpower is her ability to go from full mid-zoomies to instantly flopping right into a cozy, nap-time yoga pretzel right next to you on the couch.

Liah is incredibly sweet, loving, and wonderfully vocal about her happiness, which means you truly get twice the purrs with her around. Because of her fun, youthful energy, she would thrive in a household with another playful cat friend to keep her company. If you don't have another friendly and playful cat, we are happy to recommend one of Liah's buddies to you! Little tripod PIERCE has recovered well from his amputation surgery and is ready to find his furever home! Pierce is a sweet, affectionate boy, about 8-10 months old and fully grown at 15 pounds. He spends his days charming his foster family, playing with his toys, playing with his foster siblings and just generally loving life. His 3 favorite times of day are play time, cuddle time and dinner time. Living on 3 legs doesn't slow him down a bit, he runs and plays with his foster siblings like any young dog. Pierce is a handsome mixed breed little guy, our best guess is a MinPin/Rat Terrier type mix. He navigates very well on 3 legs, he wasn't using the leg that was injured months ago and badly healed. Pierce is basicallly perfect, he's housebroken, crate trained and good with cats and other dogs. He would love to find a home with another similar-sized medium energy dog who loves to play. 🚨 URGENT MEDICAL FOSTER NEEDED: GREATER CINCINNATI AREA 🚨

Last month we posted a fundraiser for tiny, 4-5 month old Gemma. She came to us in a crisis and needed emergency medical care to both stabilize her and figure out what was going on with her small kitten body.

It is so incredibly unfair, but little Gemma has been diagnosed with kidney failure. She has her whole life ahead of her, and she shouldn't have to face something this heavy so early. It breaks our hearts, but we are determined to give her the fighting chance she deserves. She needs to leave the shelter environment immediately for a quiet, stress-free medical foster home. Kidney failure is entirely non-contagious so foster her poses absolutely zero threat to any other cats, dogs, or animals in your home.

Despite her diagnosis, she is incredibly resilient, full of purrs, and wants nothing more than to be loved. We ask that to foster Gemma, you must live in the Greater Cincinnati area. This is so you can easily accommodate regular checkups, blood work, and treatment at our partner veterinary clinic. Her care routine will include a renal diet (wet and dry food), encouraging plenty of hydration, and administering routine subcutaneous fluids as needed to support her kidneys (we will fully train you!). All medical treatments, veterinary appointments, food, and essential cat supplies are provided by the rescue- we need you to supply the space and the love. It is a heartbreaking situation, but with your help, she won't have to face it alone. Can you open your heart and home to help this sweet girl fight?
