✨A walk through history: The theater changed ownership twice between 2001 and 2014 before ultimately closing because of financial difficulties.

In 2014, former owner Michael Boland helped establish a new nonprofit organization to revive the venue.

Supported by a $2 million donation, the effort focused on extensive repairs, modernizing the facility, and preserving the theater’s historic architectural character.
