The WoodBank will be holding a volunteer day on Saturday, Dec. 20, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. where members of the community are encouraged to come out and help

Attention Housing Heroes! The YWCA MDI board and steering committee are looking for SEVEN more individuals or businesses to join our group of TEN $25,000 donors to assist our pre construction funding as we go through the permitting and grant writing process for the construction of our first 18 units of affordable housing at the newly named, Red Barn Way at Hamilton Station.

If you believe that affordable housing is a significant community challenge in Bar Harbor and are able to commit $25,000 to be one of the true believers in providing a solution then we invite you to join this esteemed group who will be permanently memorialized at the site as the kick starters, the visionaries, the problem solvers who are vital to fast tracking our project out of permit stage and onto construction stage.
