A huge thank you to Wallace Awning and Homes of Acadia for making our new awning possible! Your generosity and expertise have transformed our outdoor space.
We also want to shout out an incredible volunteer and donor who stepped forward to make this dream a reality. Your belief in this work, and your willingness to show up, means everything to us.
The awning provides shade for neighbors waiting to visit the pantry, protects our Fresh Food Fridays outdoor distribution, and keeps our equipment running smoothly. It's a beautiful reminder of what our community can accomplish when we show up for each other.

Once a year, USPS letter carriers help organize the largest single-day food drive in the U.S. 💌 This Saturday, May 9, you can participate in the Stamp Out Hunger ™ food drive hosted by the National Association of Letter Carriers. Simply leave a bag of non-perishable food next to your mailbox, and your mail carrier will handle the rest 🥫

This month, every cent rounded up at the register will support Bar Harbor Food Pantry, an organization dedicated to nourishing our community through programs that provide dignified access to healthy food for local families and individuals. Their work goes far beyond the pantry shelves, helping ensure neighbors across Hancock County have access to the food and support they need.
