Meet Craig and Shawna Ketter and their kids! Their family moved to Maine in 2023 to serve with the Thrive Maine team. They have a heart for discipleship and have served in their community and church over the years through helping people strengthen relationships while sharing the grace and truth of Jesus – often in the outdoors. The part of ministry they treasure most is watching God transform lives—drawing people to Himself, healing hearts, and redeeming lives.

They love adventuring with their children and see it as a gift that they get to create opportunities for other families and individuals to grow to know Christ and abide in Him through adventures, discipleship, experiential learning and retreats.

Meet Jessica and Jason Loose! Jess and her husband Jason first started working in ministry as part of a church plant in California in 2017. After moving back to her native New England, Jess wanted to find a way to help people grow in their relationship with Christ. She started working with Thrive Maine in early 2024.

Jess loves getting to bring women and families along in activities in the great Maine outdoors, often with her own kids in tow. In this space, she gets to step back and watch the Lord transform hearts and lives, evidenced by stronger relationships with God and others,. She is grateful for the impact that Thrive’s work has in the lives of those we serve, from seasoned ministry leaders to those who don’t yet know the Lord.

Jason teaches upper school mathematics and history at Mirus Academy. He is looking forward to joining the Thrive team during the summer months! He loves to help people become more rooted in their faith and God's love for us in Jesus, and to grow in wisdom and wonder.

Meet Kelly and her family as she will be celebrating 25 years in ministry in January 2026! God first called them to serve in college ministry at Virginia Tech in 2001, and then took them on an adventure as they moved and ministered at the University of Maine, University of Virginia, James Madison University, and now with Thrive.

Kelly loves guiding others to Christ. It is a joy and a privilege to sit across from women, enter into their lives, and walk side by side with them as we grow together in following Christ. As the HR Director, she also dedicates time to supporting Thrive staff, oversees the interview and hiring process, and provides fundraising training - all of which is vital to flourishing long term in ministry.

Meet Adam and Tracy Simpson and their family. For the past 24 years, they have dedicated their lives to ministry, serving all over the United States and Internationally.

Today, Adam and Tracy are based in Taos, New Mexico, serving as directors with Thrive—a ministry that uses outdoor experiences to reach those who are lost and help them grow as followers of Jesus. They are also helping plant a new church in Taos, bringing the hope of the Gospel to a community deeply in need of spiritual renewal.

Adam is passionate about how outdoor adventures can help people connect more deeply with God and with one another. For him, the greatest adventure is following and loving Jesus. Tracy shares that same passion through her love for serving internationals and pointing them to Christ. She has a remarkable gift for meeting new people and building meaningful relationships that reflect God’s love.

This ministry is made possible through the faithful generosity of friends and partners like you. Your support allows Adam and Tracy to continue sharing the Gospel, discipling others, and helping people experience life in Christ.
