BALTIMORE CITY -- We've changed our name! As of today, we are officially Charm City Indivisible, and we couldn't be more excited about what's in store.

It's an exciting time for our group. The Maryland General Assembly session just ended (and some of our top-priority bills passed at the very last second), we're launching our endorsement process so that we can really get involved in the upcoming Democratic primaries, and our immigration and community care groups are working tirelessly to find new ways to protect and support our neighbors.

We're ready for all of it, and will bring the same grassroots energy and progressive values as always, but now, with a new name and fresh energy. Join us!

This Saturday!

In preparation for the National Day of Action this Saturday, April 25, Indivisible has put together a very helpful resource page for anyone interested in attending a Communities Not Cages action; actually hosting an action; or learning about the broader campaign to oppose Trump’s detention agenda.

This expanding page will have everything you need to get started: event toolkits, FAQs, know your rights resources, recorded trainings, and tools to find existing or proposed detention warehouses near you. Check it out at https://indivisible.org/campaigns/dismantling-detention ⭐

This chapter is entering a new era. Are you in?

We're building the kind of organized, sustained grassroots presence that actually moves the needle, and we're at a moment where getting the infrastructure right matters as much as showing up to actions, which means we need more people behind the scenes.

Here's where we need you most right now:

Chapter Meetings β€” Be part of the team that makes our monthly meetings happen: venue, agenda, facilitation, the whole thing.

Social Events β€” Help us build community between actions. We're doing two social events a month and we need people who love logistics, local spots, and making people feel welcome.

Communications β€” Help us tell our story. Content wrangling, writing, editing, design. If any of that's in your wheelhouse, let us hear from you.

Operations β€” The connective tissue of the chapter. Venue relationships, inbox management. If you're the person who notices when details fall through the cracks, this one's for you.

Fill out our interest form below and let us know where you want to plug in. We'll follow up personally to find the right fit.

Three fast facts from the recent nationwide survey on No Kings.

* No Kings has net positive support among voters (If No Kings were a politician, it would be the most popular politician in America.)

* Those who protested were most concerned about presidential overreach. The majority of those surveyed also said the President is exceeding his powers

* 32 percent of protestors at the most recent No Kings event were first timers, with evidence of much further growth potential.
