💔🐾 BILL WAS ABANDONED... BUT SOMEONE REFUSED TO GIVE UP ON HIM. 🐾💔
Bill's story began when he was just a puppy in South Florida. His foster found him a home, believing he was finally safe and settled.
But through a series of unfortunate circumstances and multiple homes, Bill eventually ended up abandoned and alone in an overcrowded rural Florida shelter—hundreds of miles away from where his journey began.
His microchip had never been updated, so when the shelter reached out, the person who had originally fostered him was contacted.
She couldn't turn her back on him. ❤️
When the shelter and rescues in Florida had no available space, she paid $1,700 out of her own pocket to transport Bill all the way from Florida to Maryland—with no real plan other than getting him to safety.
And now, Bill desperately needs help again. 💔
The resident dog in the home has become aggressive toward him, and with a toddler in the house, the situation has become increasingly stressful and unsafe. His foster has done everything she can, but she urgently needs to find Bill a foster or forever home where he can finally settle in and feel safe.
🐾 MEET BILL—ALSO AFFECTIONATELY KNOWN AS “CRICKET!” 🦗😂
Bill earned his nickname because he loves to jump, hop, and chase crickets around the yard! This goofy boy also loves jumping over his bed and baby gates—although his landing technique isn't always as graceful as he seems to think it is. 😂
Bill is a 2.5-year-old, 60-pound black-and-white Pittie mix who is an immensely sweet and innocent soul. He may be fully grown, but he still thinks he's a baby!
He was a cuddly, goofy, mama's boy at 8 weeks old, and he is still exactly the same today. 🥹 When Bill isn't following his favorite person around, he's usually curled up somewhere soft, watching the neighborhood from the front window, or looking for squirrels and crickets to chase.

He loves being lazy around the house just as much as he loves playing outside. He's not afraid of thunderstorms, but water? Absolutely not! 😂
His DNA results make him even more unique: 66% American Pit Bull Terrier, 16% Bulldog, and 18% Supermutt—with some Chihuahua and Miniature Pinscher mixed in! 🐾
Bill has been through so much in his short life. He has been passed from home to home, abandoned, transported hundreds of miles, and is now once again searching for somewhere safe to land.
💔 He deserves for this to be the last time.
Bill's foster went above and beyond to save him when no one else could. Now this sweet, silly boy needs someone to step up and give him the stable home he has always deserved.
