BSA Troop 706 Glyndon

BSA Troop 706 Glyndon Boy Scout Sacred Heart Church of Glyndon has chartered our Troop since 1964.

As a troop, we are in the Arrowhead District of the Baltimore Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Troop 706 is a natural extension of Pack 706 that is also chartered by Sacred Heart Church. It is a safe haven where boys and everyone should feel physically and emotionally secure. We do this in several ways:

• We create an environment based on fun and learning
• We set the example for other

s and ourselves by always behaving as Scouts
• We live the Scout Oath and Law each day and to the best of our abilities
• We refuse to tolerate any putdown, name calling, or physical aggression
• We seek the best from each scout member, and we do our best to help him achieve it
• We support the precepts of Catholic Social teaching; we welcome boys of all religious, social, and cultural backgrounds

Weekly meetings are held every Thursday from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM in Sacred Heart School’s West Room unless school is cancelled for inclement weather (we follow the Baltimore County Weather closing schedule).
