As we get ready for a new school year, we’re taking a moment to celebrate everything our community made possible in 2025–2026! 💙

Together, 651 donors helped BSF invest $548,472 in Bainbridge Island public schools, supporting academic intervention, adding hundreds of new library books, celebrating educators, and reaching students across all seven schools.

We are so grateful for our amazing community of supporters and can’t wait to see what we accomplish together this year!

Every school year tells a story, and this one is filled with generosity, gratitude, and meaningful support for students across all our schools.

Because of you, students received targeted academic support, educators brought new ideas into their classrooms, and nearly 700 new books found their way into school libraries across the district. Every act of generosity helped strengthen our schools.

Starting kindergarten is a big adventure! Join Bainbridge Schools Foundation for a fun afternoon where incoming kindergarteners and their families can meet new friends, enjoy snacks and cotton candy, play together, and start making connections before the first day of school.

The school year may be over, but we couldn’t pass up an opportunity to highlight and thank the amazing BISD academic interventionists who make a huge difference for students and families every day.

Through programs like Reading Club, students receive personalized support that helps build confidence, strengthen skills, and discover the joy of reading. The stories in this post are just a few examples of the impact these educators have on the lives of children across our schools. BSF funding helps support academic intervention programs across Bainbridge schools, ensuring students have access to the resources and encouragement they need to thrive.
