Celebrate the animals who have changed your life.

Tiger Day began last year in memory of Giant Tiger, our Executive Director Kim Gorman’s beloved Great Pyrenees/Mastiff. Tiger was a confidante, a cherished friend, and a beloved member of his family—and he reminded everyone who knew him just how extraordinary the bond between people and animals can be.

Today, Tiger Day is an opportunity for all of us to celebrate that bond.

Take a moment to share a photo of an animal who has touched your life.

Maybe they made you laugh.
Maybe they helped you through a difficult time.
Maybe they simply sat beside you when you needed them most.

Share their photo. Share their story.
Celebrate the pawprints they left on your heart. ❤️

Post your photo on September 5 and tag West Sound PAWS.

🐾 2nd Annual Tiger Day — September 5 🐾

Tiger Day began in memory of Giant Tiger, the beloved Great Pyrenees/Mastiff of our Executive Director, Kim Gorman.

Tiger was Kim’s confidante, constant companion, and beloved friend—the kind of dog who was adored by everyone lucky enough to have him sit on their feet. ❤️

His loss inspired something beautiful: a day to honor all the animals who leave their pawprints on our lives.

On September 5, join Kim and all of us at West Sound Paws by sharing a photo of an animal who has changed your life—one still by your side or one you carry forever in your heart. 🐾

Tell us what made them unforgettable.

Because they’re never just pets.

They are family. ❤️

We will have a small memorial at the Pleasant Beach Center. You can drop by or share your beloved pet on our feed.
