June 1st is National Children’s Day and at Jeremiah Program Austin, we love the kids. 💛

Children remind us to make play a priority — to laugh loudly, get messy, paint freely, explore boldly, and find joy in the little things. We’re learning from their curiosity, creativity, and ability to fully live in the moment.

That’s why our two-generation model matters so deeply. We invest in single moms and their children because when families thrive together, generations are impacted together.

At Jeremiah Program Austin, we see that resilience firsthand. We see mothers pursuing degrees, building careers, creating stability, and reimagining what’s possible for their families — all while raising the next generation. JP’s two-generation model exists to ensure moms never have to choose between investing in themselves and investing in their children.

For Corinna, choosing Jeremiah Program Austin was about more than support. It was about finding community.

In sharing her story, Corinna talks about the importance of being surrounded by people who genuinely care and how the Child Development Center has been more than accommodating to her daughter’s special needs — creating a space where both mother and child feel seen, supported, and valued.

That’s the heart behind Jeremiah Program’s two-generation model. While moms pursue higher education and career pathways, their children receive quality early childhood education and care at the same time. It’s a model designed to support the whole family and create lasting generational impact.

Teacher Appreciation Week at JP Austin was filled with intention, gratitude, and so much love for our incredible CDC teachers.

Thank you to every person, partner, volunteer, and supporter who contributed to making this week so special. From thoughtful gifts and pampering moments to kind words and acts of service, every detail reminded our teachers just how valued they are.

Our teachers pour so much into our children and families every single day, and it meant so much to create space for them to feel celebrated, supported, and cared for in return.
