* Understand their rights and responsibilities under IDEA;
* Obtain and evaluate resources and services;
* Participate as team members with professionals in planning services for their children. How Do I Get Started? - Call us at our state office at 281-969-5944 or email us at [email protected]

Is There A Cost? - No. All of our services are provided at no cost to parents of infants, toddlers, children and youth with all types of disabilities. TEAM Project offers many services and can provide contacts for other national, state and community resources, so chances are, there is something to fit your needs.

📣 Texas parents: Special education updates to know!

The Texas Education Agency (TEA) has released its 2026–2027 Special Education Back-to-School Update, highlighting changes to special education rules and when those changes take effect.

What should parents look for?
Updates cover evaluations, ARD meetings where your child’s education plan is discussed, and parent notification requirements.

Knowing what is changing can help you prepare questions, participate in meetings, and better understand decisions about your child’s education. Pay attention to the dates listed, because some changes take effect later than others.

What does a PRN Regional Coordinator do?

Sometimes, it looks like sitting across from a parent who feels overwhelmed and helping them understand their options.

Regional Coordinators listen, explain special education information in plain language, and help families feel more prepared to participate in decisions about their child’s education.

PRN accepts resumes for Regional Coordinator positions at any time.

Send your resume, cover letter, and three professional references to [email protected]. Include “Regional Coordinator Region #” in the subject line.

Candidates must live in the region they apply to serve.
