The Citizens Foundation (TCF) is a volunteer-driven, nonprofit organization that funds schools and educational programs for underprivileged children in Pakistan. The schools are designed, built, and operated by TCF, one of the largest education nonprofits in South Asia. TCF has US support chapters (TCF USA) across the

United States, including California, New York, Minnesota, Illinois, and Connecticut. As chapters, we actively work to raise funds and awareness through community outreach. TCF caters to 275,000 students in 1,687 school units, located in 97 towns and cities all across Pakistan. We have 19,165 people employed, including 12,950 teachers. 44,188 of our bright students are mentored by 11,230 mentors in nine cities, through our Rahbar Program.150, 000 adult women have been empowered through Agahi Program. Over 91% of every dollar received went to the Education program in 2011-12. In April of 2013, TCF was awarded the prestigious International Skoll Foundation Award for Social Entrepreneurship (SASEs).

The Youth Impact Challenge 2026 brought together young changemakers from across the country—each stepping up to create their own campaigns in support of education in Pakistan.

Through their initiative and commitment, participants transformed individual efforts into meaningful impact—helping expand access to education for 285+ deserving children.

We’re proud to recognize our Top 3 Changemakers:

In addition to leading the challenge, participants earned service hour certifications, recognizing their dedication to advocacy and impact.
