This morning’s harvest! 🍅🥬🌶️

Our Vitality Unit has been hard at work the past few months in our garden, and boy has their work paid off! We collected a beautiful harvest of green onion, grape tomatoes, and even a few habanero peppers 😋

What should we make with it?

Yesterday was the Primary Run-off Election Day, and our members and staff headed to the polls! 🗳️

Voting is one way we advocate for ourselves and our community. When we show up, we make our voices heard on the issues that impact mental health services, housing, healthcare, and the wellbeing of our neighbors.

Last week, staff from Lifeworks joined us for a tour of the Clubhouse, where they connected directly with members and staff to gain a deeper understanding of our work and approach to recovery.

Building strong partnerships with organizations across Austin helps ensure individuals living with mental health challenges are met with more informed, compassionate, and collaborative support throughout the community.

Thanks for visiting, LifeWorks Austin!

Thank you to I Live Here I Give Here & KXAN News for hosting an amazing Member Training on Getting Media Ready!

We walked away with practical tools, fresh confidence, and a deeper understanding of how to share our stories in ways that truly connect with the Central Texas community. Learning directly from media professionals about what makes a story compelling and how to prepare for interviews was invaluable and we cannot recommend this experience enough.

Grateful for opportunities like this that help nonprofits strengthen our voices, build meaningful visibility, and better advocate for the communities we serve.

Thank you to our panelists — Brenda Carter (Austin Clubhouse member), Kelenne Blake (Black Mamas ATX), and Tiffany Lewis (Jeremiah Program Austin) — for being part of our annual Open House, Open Minds event and discussing the importance of prioritizing community and holistic support for mothers navigating mental health challenges.

Thank you as well to our members and staff who put so much care into making the evening happen, and to everyone in our community who joined us. Your presence and support made the event truly amazing. We are already looking forward to next year!

Wow, we are in awe at the amazing support we have received from + our Austin community! The Free Bakery in North Loop has raised $300 for Austin Clubhouse during their May pop-up. 💛

The Free Bakery North Loop is a donation-based pop-up offering treats to anyone who stops by. Each month, founder Sarah Mason chooses a local organization to receive the proceeds, and we’re so grateful to have been selected during Mental Health Awareness Month.
