BIG NEWS from Andover Dog Training Center! 🎉🐾

We are beyond excited to share that Mrs. Georgia has officially found her forever home! ❤️

Not only is she starting a new chapter with her amazing new mom, Mrs. Garcia (the principal at Rose Hill Intermediate), but she’s also stepping into an incredibly important role—becoming a therapy dog for the Rose Hill Rockets! 🚀🐶

Mrs. Georgia’s journey has been special, and we couldn’t be more proud to see her go from training to making a real impact in the lives of students and staff every single day. She’s going to bring comfort, confidence, and a whole lot of love to that school.

Congratulations to Mrs. Garcia and the Rose Hill Rockets—you’re gaining one incredible dog. And to Mrs. Georgia… your best days are just getting started. 💙

In the military, every command had to work. 🇺🇸

When you're a Combat Engineer K9 Handler, your dog doesn't get a second chance to respond. The recall either works. Or it doesn't. The stakes don't get higher than that.

That's the standard I brought home from service. And it's the same standard I apply to every dog that walks through our doors at ADTC.

This isn't basic obedience. It's real-world training built on 20+ years of military K9 methodology.

Here's what that means for your dog:

• 100% reliable recall, regardless of distractions
• Behavior modification rooted in proven, balanced techniques
• Training that holds up in real life. Not just in a classroom
• A trainer who has seen what disciplined, purposeful training can actually do

Frustrated dog owners come to us after trying everything else. They leave with a dog that's calm, confident, and genuinely reliable.

That same life-or-death dedication I carried in uniform. I bring it to your family's dog every single day.

If you're ready to stop managing the chaos and start seeing real transformation, reach out. 👉 Call Scott directly and let's talk about what's possible for your dog.

We trained dogs for life-or-death situations. 🎖️

In the military, a dog's recall wasn't a preference. It was survival.

That same standard is what we bring to every dog we work with here in Kansas.

This isn't basic obedience. It's real-world reliability, built on 20+ years of proven methodology.

If you're ready for results that actually hold, we're ready for you.

Meet George 🐾

George is a special girl currently looking for her forever home through ONL, and we’re on a mission to find the perfect match—ideally a veteran in need of a loyal companion or future service dog.

She has an incredible temperament, a strong willingness to learn, and the kind of loyalty that can truly change someone’s life. With the right person and continued training, George has all the potential to become not just a companion, but a purpose-driven partner.

If you or someone you know is a veteran who could benefit from a dog like George, please reach out. Let’s find her the home she deserves and possibly make a life-changing connection in the process.

❤️ SOME WOUNDS AREN'T VISIBLE. AND SOME DOGS JUST NEED ONE PERSON TO BELIEVE IN THEM.

That's the heart of Operation New Leash.

We're pairing struggling veterans with rescue dogs who need rehabilitation. Not because it sounds good on paper. Because we've seen what happens when a veteran wakes up with purpose again. And what happens when a dog. once written off. finally feels safe.

Both of them are transformed.

Here's what Operation New Leash looks like in practice:

🐕 Veterans work alongside our team at ADTC, learning real dog training and handling skills
🇺🇸 Rescue dogs receive daily structure, obedience work, and confidence building
❤️ Both the veteran and the dog gain routine, purpose, and a reason to show up every day
👉 Trained, adoptable dogs go on to loving homes. Veterans go on with new skills and renewed direction.

This isn't therapy disguised as dog training.

It's real work. Real results. Real second chances.

Scott Sexton. retired U.S. Army Sergeant and former Combat Engineer K9 Handler. built ADTC on one belief: the same discipline that saves lives in combat can rebuild them back home.

Operation New Leash is that mission in action.

We're just getting started. and we want you to be part of it.

Share this post to spread the word. Follow along as we document this journey. Or reach out directly if you know a veteran who needs this. Call Scott at (316) 768-3308.

Some second chances come on four legs.

A veteran who lost his footing. A rescue dog who lost his home. When they found each other inside our facility, something shifted for both of them.

That's Operation New Leash. Not a program on paper. A real transformation, built one leash clip at a time.

Scott built ADTC to train dogs. He built this mission to heal people.

❤️ If this moves you, share it. Someone out there needs to see it.

🇺🇸 IN THE MILITARY, WE TRAINED DOGS FOR LIFE-OR-DEATH SITUATIONS.

As a U.S. Army Sergeant and Combat Engineer K9 Handler, I worked alongside dogs trained to detect roadside bombs in Iraq and Afghanistan. Those dogs didn't get a second chance if they failed. Neither did we.

That same methodology. that same standard of reliability. is exactly what I bring to every dog I train at ADTC.

This isn't basic obedience. It's real-world, high-distraction training built on:

• 🐕 20+ years of military K9 handling experience
• Proven balanced training methods
• 100% reliable recall. regardless of distractions
• Behavior transformation that actually sticks

Frustrated dog owners in the Wichita/Andover area. I've heard your story. You've tried other trainers. You've watched YouTube videos. You've done everything "right" and your dog still won't listen.

There's a reason military K9s perform under the most extreme pressure imaginable. The methodology works. And your dog deserves that same level of commitment.

This is what separates ADTC from every other trainer in the region. We don't just teach commands. We build dogs you can trust with your life.

Ready to stop settling for "good enough"? Call Scott directly and let's talk about what real transformation looks like for your dog.

Some bonds don't need words to form.

A rescue dog with nowhere to go. A veteran searching for purpose. One quiet moment changed both of them.

That's what Operation New Leash is built on. Second chances. Healing together. Real transformation for dogs and the people who've given everything.

❤️ If this mission moves you, share it. Help us reach the next veteran who needs it.

SOME BATTLES DON'T END WHEN YOU COME HOME. ❤️

A lot of veterans return carrying weight that no one can see. Isolation. Loss of purpose. The silence that follows a life built on mission and brotherhood.

And in shelters across Kansas, dogs sit waiting. Misunderstood. Overlooked. Full of potential that no one has taken the time to unlock.

That's where Operation New Leash begins.

ONL is our mission-driven program pairing struggling veterans with rescue dogs for mutual transformation. Not a charity. Not a program on paper. A real, structured path toward purpose, healing, and a second chance. For both.

Here's what it looks like:

🐕 Veterans work alongside our training team at ADTC, building daily structure and routine
🐕 Each veteran is paired with a rescue dog that needs rehabilitation
🐕 Together, they train. They grow. They heal.
🐕 Dogs become more adoptable. Veterans rediscover purpose and belonging.

Scott Sexton. Retired U.S. Army Sergeant. Combat Engineer K9 Handler. He's spent over 20 years watching what happens when a dog and a handler trust each other completely.

He built this program because he knows firsthand. The mission doesn't stop at the gate.

🇺🇸 If you know a veteran who could use structure, community, and a reason to get up every morning. share this post. It could change everything.

Be part of the beginning. Follow along as we build something that matters.

Some wounds don't show. Neither does the healing.

A struggling veteran. A rescue dog nobody wanted.

When they meet inside our facility, something shifts. Purpose finds purpose. Trust finds trust.

That's Operation New Leash. ❤️

Scott built ADTC to train dogs. But the deeper mission has always been this. Giving veterans a reason to show up. Giving dogs a second chance.

Both of them. Transformed together.

Follow along to see where this mission goes next.

❤️ SECOND CHANCES LOOK LIKE THIS.

A veteran who's been carrying more than most people will ever understand.

A rescue dog who's been waiting for someone to believe in them.

When those two find each other. something shifts. Something heals.

That's the heart behind Operation New Leash.

This program isn't just about training dogs. It's about giving veterans a mission again. A reason to get up. A purpose to pour themselves into. And it's about giving rescue dogs the structure, the patience, and the love they need to become someone's forever companion.

Here's what that looks like in practice:

🐕 Veterans work hands-on inside our facility, learning real dog training and rehabilitation skills.

🇺🇸 Rescue dogs are paired with veterans for daily training, socialization, and transformation.

❤️ Both come in struggling. Both leave changed.

This is healing together. Not a slogan. A reality we're building right here in Andover, Kansas.

We're still in the early stages of Operation New Leash, and every share, every follow, every conversation helps us grow this mission into something that can impact veterans and dogs across the region.

If this moves you. share it. If you know a veteran who needs purpose and community. send them our way. If you want to be part of something bigger than a training program. follow along.
