🇺🇸 **BIG NEWS FOR OPERATION NEW LEASH!** 🐾

After a tremendous amount of work behind the scenes, Operation New Leash has officially received its **501(c)(3) nonprofit status!**

We have been fairly quiet about ONL because we wanted to build the right foundation and get everything properly established before we truly began pushing the program. Now that this major step is complete, you will be seeing and hearing a lot more about Operation New Leash.

**So, what is Operation New Leash?**

Operation New Leash is a structured six-month program designed to help veterans successfully transition into civilian life. Many veterans leave the military without the structure, mission, brotherhood, and clear sense of direction they once had. ONL is being created to help them rebuild those things.

Veterans will gain real-world experience working with and training dogs while developing patience, confidence, accountability, leadership, and healthy daily routines. The program will also connect them with peer support, physical fitness, financial education, VA resources, career exploration, résumé building, and job-shadowing opportunities.

**The mission is veterans. The tool is dogs.**

Over the past three years, Andover Dog Training Center has built incredible relationships with clients, families, veterans, local businesses, and people throughout our community. We believe those relationships are what can make this nonprofit successful. ADTC can provide the training experience, dogs, facilities, community connections, and real-world opportunities—but we need our ADTC family standing behind the mission.

If everyone who has been part of ADTC donated just a couple of dollars each month—even **$2, $5, or $10**—together we could truly change lives.

We could help veterans who are leaving the military and struggling to figure out what comes next. We could give them structure, purpose, brotherhood, valuable skills, and a clear path toward a successful future.

BIG NEWS from Andover Dog Training Center! 🎉🐾

We are beyond excited to share that Mrs. Georgia has officially found her forever home! ❤️

Not only is she starting a new chapter with her amazing new mom, Mrs. Garcia (the principal at Rose Hill Intermediate), but she’s also stepping into an incredibly important role—becoming a therapy dog for the Rose Hill Rockets! 🚀🐶

Mrs. Georgia’s journey has been special, and we couldn’t be more proud to see her go from training to making a real impact in the lives of students and staff every single day. She’s going to bring comfort, confidence, and a whole lot of love to that school.

Congratulations to Mrs. Garcia and the Rose Hill Rockets—you’re gaining one incredible dog. And to Mrs. Georgia… your best days are just getting started. 💙

We're pairing struggling veterans with rescue dogs who need rehabilitation. Not because it sounds good on paper. Because we've seen what happens when a veteran wakes up with purpose again. And what happens when a dog. once written off. finally feels safe.
