THE WARMING CENTER IS GETTING READY FOR ANOTHER WINTER SEASON
The Augusta Emergency Overnight Warming Center at 34 Bridge Street in Augusta, Maine, is preparing to welcome our community for another winter season.
We will officially open our doors on November 15, 2026, aligning with the opening dates of other warming centers across the state.
Our team is ready, our preparations are underway, and we are grateful for the opportunity to once again provide a warm, safe, and welcoming place for those in our community who need it during the cold winter months.
❤️ We are grateful for the volunteers, supporters, donors, and community partners who make this important mission possible.
As winter approaches, we look forward to another season of caring for our neighbors and helping ensure that no one must face a cold Maine night without a warm place to go.

A Heartfelt Thank You to The River Churches Cooperative Parish!
Our hearts are full of gratitude for everyone who supported the Public Potluck Supper at Cox Memorial United Methodist Church in Hallowell.
Thanks to your generosity, fellowship, and kindness, we raised more than $1,000 for the Augusta Emergency Overnight Warming Center!
Every dish shared, every donation given, and every person who came out helped make a difference for neighbors in need of warmth, safety, and hope.
Thank you for showing the power of community and compassion in action.
Together, we are making a difference.
With gratitude,
Julia Stone, Director, Rob Flannery, Manager, and Beth Sirabella, Fundraising and Volunteer Coordinator.
