OBD is at Oakland County STRIDES in Rochester today, and Lorie was happy to award our raffle winner, Rebecca, with her prize. She is a survivor, making her survivorship count today. Congrats, Rebecca!

We’re walking to honor survivors, remember those we’ve lost, support those still fighting, and raise awareness about the importance of breast density education and early detection.

Together, we can make a difference—one step at a time! 💕

💗 Grateful for the opportunity to connect, educate, and inspire!

I had such a wonderful time speaking at the ACG Detroit Women’s Forum Coffee & Connections event!

As the founder of Operation Breast Density, I’m always grateful for opportunities to share my passion for breast health education, breast density awareness, and the importance of advocating for your own health.

What made this event even more special was being surrounded by so many amazing women who are leaders in their industries and making a difference in their communities.

A huge thank you to Amy Whipple, ACG Detroit, and the Women’s Forum for the warm welcome and the opportunity to share my story and mission.

Events like these remind me how powerful it is when women come together to connect, support one another, and share their experiences. You never know what amazing relationships and opportunities can come from a simple conversation!

Here’s to continuing to build meaningful connections, empowering women, and making a difference together! 💕

💗 Operation Breast Density is proud to be part of the Orlando Health Breast Decisions Event at Heathrow Country Club!

We’re excited to join this important event as a community vendor, educating women and healthcare professionals about breast density, individual breast cancer risk, and the importance of supplemental screening when appropriate.

At Operation Breast Density, our mission is simple: give women the knowledge they need to advocate for their breast health. Knowing your breast density is more than just a number—it can affect both your risk of developing breast cancer and how easily a cancer can be seen on a mammogram.

World Dense Breast Day | September 30, 2026

Today, Operation Breast Density joins the global effort to help more people understand breast density and why it matters.

Dense breast tissue can make cancer harder to see on a mammogram and is also associated with an increased risk of breast cancer. Your mammogram results should tell you whether your breasts are dense. If they are, ask your healthcare provider what that means for your personal risk and whether additional screening may be appropriate for you.

Our message today is simple: Know your density. Understand your risk. Make a screening plan that fits you.

💗 What an amazing day! 💗

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out today for our Women’s Health Screening Symposium! We had such a great morning filled with education, connection, and community. 🎀

We are so grateful for the incredible support from our community and for all of the amazing vendors, women’s health organizations, cancer nonprofits, speakers, and community partners who joined us today. Thank you for helping us bring important education and resources directly to women and healthcare professionals in our community.

A special thank you to the Gavini Center for Cancer Prevention at Henry Ford Health for allowing us to host this year’s symposium at their wonderful facility. 💕

And we couldn’t have done it without our incredible Operation Breast Density board members and volunteers who worked so hard to make sure everything ran smoothly!

Thank you to everyone who attended, supported, volunteered, educated, and helped make today such a success. We are already looking forward to next year! 💗🎀
