Operation Breast Density is growing, and we’re looking for a passionate volunteer to help us maintain and enhance our website!

✨ Volunteer Opportunity: Website Manager
Help us expand our impact by keeping our website up-to-date, user-friendly, and informative for the women and families we serve.

Responsibilities may include:
💻 Updating website content and events
📅 Posting upcoming programs and fundraisers
📸 Adding photos, blogs, and educational resources
📈 Assisting with website improvements and optimization
🤝 Working with our team to support awareness and fundraising efforts

This is a great opportunity for:

Today we celebrate the strength, love, and selflessness of mothers everywhere 💗

But today is also a reminder of something just as important…

POV: nobody tells women this but breast density actually matters.

If you have dense breasts, a mammogram alone can miss cancer because dense tissue and tumors both show up white on scans. Dense breast tissue also increases your risk of breast cancer.

So if you’ve been told you have dense breasts, ask your doctor about supplemental screening like:
• breast ultrasound
• breast MRI (especially if you’re higher risk)
• contrast-enhanced mammography in some cases

And PLEASE actually read your mammogram report instead of just “everything looks normal.” Your breast density category is usually listed there.

Knowing your breast density could genuinely change how early something is found. 🎀
