Some of the things that we do at camp are:

JAM SESSIONS
In our Jam Sessions, we’re going to engage in high-energy worship with some of the best children’s worship leaders around! You’ll experience awesome drama, and hear from a master storyteller. We’ll also play some games and give you a chance to win points for your team. SMALL GROUPS
During Small Groups, kids and leaders dive into the Bible St

ory that was shared earlier during the Jam Sessions through activities and discussion questions. Small Groups provide a time for kids to interact with each other and connect with leaders. Camp is a great springboard for building relationships between kids and leaders. LEADERSHIP TRAINING
Leadership Training is one of the things that sets Camp KidJam apart. While your kids attend tracks, we offer training for the staff and volunteers that attend camp. You’ll go to four sessions where you’ll hear from an Orange expert and get a chance to have your tough ministry questions answered. This is a great opportunity for those leaders and volunteers who can’t afford big conferences to catch the vision of what you are doing in your ministry.

🎉 CAMP KIDJAM | CELEBRATING 20 YEARS 🎉

Jessica “Cookie” has been part of Camp KidJam since 2011, and her journey is a true reflection of what makes CKJ so special. She began as an intern, stepped into running the camp store, moved behind the camera, and today serves wherever she’s needed—truly a jack of all trades. No matter the role, her heart has remained the same: serving kids and leaders and making the week unforgettable.

Here’s what she has to say about her time at CKJ:
“I have been apart of CKJ since 2011. I started as an intern, then I moved to operating the camp store, then to camera, and now I’m kind of a jack of all trades when it comes to Camp. As my role has changed, I still love that I get to serve the kids and leaders, that is what it’s all about! I have gained life long friends, from forever long van rides and late night Slurpee runs, we have become like family. I can’t explain well enough how much CKJ means to me! Looking forward to what comes next!!”

🎉 CAMP KIDJAM | CELEBRATING 20 YEARS 🎉

Ricky Wise first experienced Camp KidJam in 2008 as a small group leader—and it did not take long for him to fall in love with the mission. From the very beginning, he was drawn to a ministry intentionally designed to create an unforgettable, fun-filled week that introduced kids to Jesus and helped shape their faith.

Ricky returned in the summer of 2009, serving in multiple roles before officially joining the Camp KidJam staff that fall as Assistant Director. From 2009 to 2021, he faithfully served in a wide range of leadership capacities, including general camp operations and overseeing the Internship Program (and most notably known as Camp Dad to the staff!). Throughout those years, Ricky poured his leadership, creativity, and passion into making camp what so many know it as, the “Best Week Ever!”

Here's what Ricky has to say about his time at CKJ:
"Camp KidJam entered my life at a pivotal time and gave me a sense of purpose beyond what I ever imagined —finding opportunities to grow as a leader, mentor young staff, build meaningful friendships, and help cultivate life-changing ministry moments. Few experiences have brought me greater joy than standing in a room full of kids and leaders worshiping Jesus together—watching faith come alive in young hearts. Playing even a small part in that story has been one of my greatest privileges.

Each summer brought new adventures filled with unforgettable memories, non-stop laughter, powerful worship, and relationships that extended far beyond a single week of camp. Camp KidJam has left a profound mark on me ministry journey but also on my family. Today, my own kids are eager for the day they get to serve at CKJ themselves. Happy 20th, Camp KidJam! The impact continues."

For two decades, Camp KidJam has been a place where campers, leaders, AND staff members have been deeply impacted. Meet Molly! ☀️

Molly served at CKJ from 2014–2018, bringing energy and joy as and intern and in the camp store.

Here’s what she shared:
"I am most grateful for the lifelong friendships that camp gave me! Being so immersed in ministry together forged special bonds and the people I worked with are people I will always treasure. Camp also allowed me to see Kids Ministry done with excellence, which has opened doors for the job I have now. Camp shaped so much of who I am now and stepping out of my comfort zone to go to camp as an intern is one of the best decisions I have made!"
