Beginning tonight at sundown, Jewish communities around the world will observe Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day.

Many people are familiar with the term Holocaust, now synonymous with the systematic murder of more than six million European Jews during World War II. The word comes from the Greek holokauston, meaning “a burnt offering.” Because this definition carries religious meaning, many Jewish people prefer the Hebrew word Shoah, meaning “catastrophe” or “ruin,” which more accurately reflects the deliberate evil carried out by the N***s.

Today, take a moment to pray for the Jewish community. If you have Jewish friends, consider reaching out to acknowledge this solemn day of remembrance. Let them know you are praying for them and that you care.

This simple act is not only a meaningful way to stand against antisemitism, it is also a tangible expression of what it means to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Reaching out, being present, and mourning with those who mourn helps build authentic relationships with the Jewish community and opens the door for deeper conversations about faith and the hope we have in our Messiah, Jesus.

If you’re unsure what to say or would like guidance on how to show support for the Jewish community, reach out. We are here to help.

Before the cross… there was Passover.
Before the empty tomb… there was a table.

One story. One Messiah. One redemption.

This Resurrection Sunday, don’t forget,
this is a Jewish story.

Reach out to your Jewish friends with love, humility, and truth.
And if you don’t know how… we’re here to help.

When the blessing was spoken…
the room answered as one:
“Amen.”

You could feel it.

Palm Sunday and Passover
are telling the same story.

Jesus didn’t step into a new narrative,
He fulfilled an ancient one.

The Gospel was first
for the Jewish people.

If you have questions this season,
we’re here for you.

We love getting to share people we know and trust 🤍
This is someone who has been part of our community and if you’ve ever sat under her teaching, you know the depth she carries.

She just launched a Hebrew 101 course, and it’s such a powerful opportunity to understand Scripture in a deeper, more rooted way.

If you’ve ever felt like “there’s more here I want to understand”… this is a beautiful place to start.

Today is Purim, a reminder that even when God seems hidden, His faithfulness is not.
We are praying for Israel, the people of Iran, and for peace.
