Memory Monday ✨ Looking back at a special night celebrating one of our 2026 Silver Circle recipients, Troy Johnson, and his remarkable career in broadcasting. Congratulations again, Troy!

Repost Troy Johnson ⬇️

I’m still taking in last night. I was inducted into the Southeast Emmy Silver Circle…an honor that reflects my decades of work across radio, TV, even print! 5 cities, broadcast in 5 countries, and a lifetime in this industry.

The highs, the lows, the people, the growth… none of it happens alone. Having my mom, sister and cousin in the room made the night complete. 16 WAPT News GM Peter Keith reminded me this was a big deal, and we celebrated it that way!

Last night when I spoke I asked if anyone felt like they had imposter syndrome. I believe in my abilities, I prepare, focus, work hard, and stay professional…but sometimes I question whether I deserve recognition. Last night I enjoyed the moment, and it’s one I wont forget. ❤️
