Together, we are raising up the next generation. Simone’s Kids is a for-purpose organization that serves the underprivileged children of the world. Established in 2010, Simone's Kids aims to open the minds and hearts of children who have been handed nothing in life. By providing for their needs, we show them that the world is an opportunity instead of an obstacle. Our mission is to save children from the devastating effects of poverty. Simone's Kids first priority is to serve orphans in the community of Uganda. Our organization was founded on the belief that we are driven and destined to care for these children. We also reach out to children who come from families that have no substantial source of income, and believe that we can help these children escape the vicious circle of poverty.

He's wearing a brand new backpack for the very first time, and we think the photos say it better than we could. The grin. The hand over the face. The pure disbelief that it's really his.

Some things don't need translating. Every one of us remembers the feeling of walking into a new school year with a new bag on our shoulders — and every child deserves it.

We started planting coffee. ☕🌱

Thanks to everyone who gave to our recent coffee fundraiser, we bought a big batch of seedlings and started planting 35 acres at Nakaseke Christian — the beginning of a coffee project meant to help fund the school for years to come.

Right now it's just cleared ground and potted seedlings waiting to go in. Nothing's producing yet, but every plant that goes in the ground this season is a step toward a school that can sustain itself.

Thank you for helping us get this started — we'll keep you posted as these trees grow.

Lunchtime looks like joy. 🍽️

At Nakaseke Christian Primary School, a hot meal means a full afternoon of learning instead of an empty stomach. Rice, beans, watermelon — simple, but it's the difference between a child who can focus in class and one who can't.

Every plate you see here happens because people believe kids deserve to learn on a full stomach. That's what Simone's Kids International has been doing in Uganda since 2010 — showing up, meal by meal, kid by kid.

That's our assistant campus pastor leading a session with the students at Nakaseke Christian — teaching, asking questions, and pouring into these kids' hearts as much as their heads. Discipleship is just as much a part of what we do as the meals and the books; these kids need to know Whose hands they're truly in.

This is Simone's Kids International beyond the basics: shepherding, encouragement, and leaders who show up week after week.
