october is for awareness.

for remembering the babies who were loved, wanted, and gone too soon.

but for me, this month is also a reminder that my hope is anchored somewhere deeper than awareness.

because while i may never get to know everything about the baby i lost…

God knows.

He knows the name i never got to call them.

He knows the little life i carried.

He knows every prayer i whispered after losing them.

and He knows the love that never left.

so this October, i’ll remember.

i’ll grieve.

i’ll speak their name.

and i’ll keep holding onto the One who knows my baby completely,

even when i never got the chance to.
