Cayden was stillborn at 24 weeks.

Her mother felt compelled to share her photos to show the humanity of babies her age.

Doctors are performing late-term abortions on babies like Cayden.

Sometimes even older.

Their lives are just as valuable as hers.

Ban abortion now.

And to think…

The first face you saw when you opened your eyes was the face of Jesus.

You never knew pain.

You never knew fear.

You never knew hunger, loneliness, heartbreak, or loss.

You never experienced a cold hospital room or a difficult goodbye.

Instead, you were wrapped in perfect love from the very beginning.

While my arms remained empty, yours were filled by the One who created you.

And even though I wish every day that I could have held you here, there is comfort in knowing you have never spent a single moment alone.

You were loved on earth long before I met you.

And you have been loved in Heaven ever since.

Until the day I see you again, that thought will always bring me peace.

Imagine your time comes…

And instead of fear, all you hear is little feet running toward you.

“Mama! I’ve been waiting for you!”

Tiny arms wrapping around your legs.

Little voices talking a mile a minute, trying to tell you everything you’ve missed.

The babies you carried.

The babies you raised.

The babies you lost.

The ones you spent a lifetime loving.

The ones you never stopped missing.

The ones you’d give absolutely anything to hold one more time.

I don’t know exactly what happens when we leave this world.

But if that’s what’s waiting for me on the other side…

I don’t think I’d be scared at all.

I think I’d finally be home.
