Big Things are coming!!!!!

📚✨ Tomorrow is GIVE LIKE DOLLY DAY! ✨📚

On September 25, we’re celebrating the incredible spirit of Dolly Parton — a woman who has shown the world just how powerful a book, a dream, and a little generosity can be. 💗🦋

Here at the Bookmobile, we believe every child deserves the chance to discover the magic of reading. Every mile we drive, every book we place into a child’s hands, and every smile we see when they find their perfect book is made possible because of people who believe in our mission.

Give Like Dolly Day is your chance to help us keep those wheels turning and those pages turning! 🚌📖

Your gift — big or small — helps us bring books directly to children in our community and encourages them to dream bigger, read more, and imagine all the possibilities ahead of them.

💗 Give like Dolly.
📚 Give the gift of reading.
🚌 Help us keep the Bookmobile rolling.

Join us September 25 and help us put more books into the hands of more children!

A morning well spent at 1 Little Meal! 🚌📚

We loved getting to visit with these little readers and let everyone pick out a book of their very own to take home. There’s nothing better than seeing how excited kids get when they find just the right one!

Thanks for having the Bookmobile, 1 Little Meal, Inc.!

Did you know that Bartow County is one of only 35 counties in Georgia where families have access to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library? 📚

That means children in our community, from birth to age five, can receive a brand-new book in the mail every month at absolutely no cost to their families. Right now over 3,000 Bartow County children are receiving books through the program! It’s a pretty special thing to have right here in Bartow County, and it’s made possible locally through a partnership between Bartow County and the Etowah Foundation’s Bookmobile. While Dolly created something incredible, it takes communities choosing to carry that mission forward to make sure those books keep arriving in little mailboxes month after month.

We’re proud to play a part in bringing Dolly’s vision to children right here at home and helping build a community where children can grow up surrounded by books and stories. ❤️

Have a child under five? Sign them up to receive their own monthly books here: https://imaginationlibrary.com/usa/affiliate/GABARTOW/

Want to help ensure resources like this remain available to families in our community? You can support the Etowah Foundation and its work to make books and literacy accessible throughout Bartow County at the link below.

Today, we’re remembering Dolly Parton and the incredible legacy she leaves behind.

Through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, children all over the world have been given the gift of a book every month. And here in Bartow County, we get to see that legacy right in our own community. So many of the children we serve receive books through the Imagination Library, and we are grateful for the joy, curiosity, and love of reading those books help inspire.

We are so thankful for the life she lived, the children she championed, and the lasting love of books she helped cultivate in so many young readers.

Her legacy will live on every time a child opens a book. ❤️
