📣🚨Fosters Needed!!🚨📣

Pals, every day we are barraged with images of dogs who are out of time due to nothing more than shelters being packed. There are pleas coming in through emails, personal messages and publicly on social media. And of course the owner surrender requests never end...

Below are photos from Hall, Gwinnett, and Jackson County dogs who are all in danger! 😭

There is also an Owner Surrender request whose owner has gone to assisted living and he, at 15 years old, is now living in boarding.. 😭 You know how we feel about that!! 💔

If any of these sweet faces call to you, please submit a foster application ASAP. 🙏

Note: If you know us and how we operate, we do like to meet potential Pals in person whenever possible before pulling, so we can assess the dog, and make sure (as best we can) s/he is a good fit for any particular foster, and for the rescue. We cannot guarantee that if you apply for a certain dog, that is who you will get. You will also meet any potential foster dog first to make sure you are ok with him/her moving in for awhile. 😉

We did briefly meet several of the Hall Urgents, Buttons (rescue only medical 😭), Esperanza (shaking in her kennel 😭), Kiko (senior 😭) and they were very sweet..

We are happy to meet more, but we need time, so again please apply asap!!

📆 Busy Month Ahead, Pals! 📅

10/10 - the first session of the Lindstrom Training Camp for Pals with Willow Creek Dog Training LLC is taking place!! We are so excited!! This training is for ⭐️Fabulous Fosters⭐️ and their Pals only, but keep an eye out for video! 👩‍🏫🐕🏆

10/24 - 25: we will once again be at the Braselton Antique & Artisan Festival at Commerce Main Street !! Don't miss this fun event with TONS of vendors, and Pals!! 🤩

Plus.. 10/25 is our 3rd Founder's Day!! We will celebrate all weekend, so come join us!! 🎉

10/31: we will be at Rescue Dog Games all day with our Pals!! This doggy-centric event is SO FUN for everyone, you don't want to miss it!! There are contests and prizes, and all kinds of activities! Get your (and your dog's) costumes on and come on over!! 🎃

🎉💖Happy Tails Alert!!💖🎉

Beautiful Kitten Pal DIVA, now Geillis - Lissy for short! - has gone to her wonderful forever home! 🥰

Lissy now has her very own mom & dad, 3 human brothers, and a doggy brother!! She is **never** going to be lonely as part of this family! ☺️

Word is that she has made herself right at home, and everyone loves her so much already! 🐱❤️

We are so grateful to our ⭐️Fabulous Foster⭐️ who has been taking fantastic care of this little one.. (and her whole family: Fiona, Smudge and Moo, too!).. since the kittens were just over a month old! 🙏❤️

Happy Tails, Lissy! We are so very happy for you as you start your new life with your family!! 🐾💖🐈

📣💞🥺 Pal Return! 🥺💞📣

If you followed us over the weekend, you already know that our sweet boy 🍫HERSHEY🍫 is back with us.

The reasons given for Hershey's return are that the family is expecting another baby, and that when Hershey runs and plays in the house they were afraid he would knock their toddler down.

This sounds to us like a young dog/puppy who needs training! We suggested that, but they had made up their minds. 🥺

It's ok, we don't want anyone to have "the wrong Pal" for their family, and we certainly don't want our Pals in the wrong home where they won't have all they need to thrive, either. 🙏

Hershey just turned 1 year old, and he is fully vetted. He is a super sweet boy who loves all people, and he loves to play with dogs too! We even did a cat test and he was a good boy! 🐱❤️🐶

The only issue we've seen is that he can be protective over toys (with other dogs, not humans..), and even if he's in the middle of a big fun play session with a doggie friend, he can suddenly change his mind about having fun if the other dog jumps on his face at all. I mean, can't say I blame him for that! 🤷🏻‍♀️😆

He is in a truly ⭐️Fabulous Foster⭐️ home, and his foster fam includes 2 young kids and a lot of other dogs! We are beyond grateful that this amazing family stepped right up when we urgently and unexpectedly needed a foster for him, even though they already have other fosters!! 🙏🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️

But, Hershey has been nervous on and off with all these big changes, and multiple dogs in the house, and we think that a home with no other dogs, or maybe just one other friend, would be best for him. 🙏

Kids, great! Cats, perfectly fine!

So, in addition to a new forever family for Hershey, we are also searching for another ⭐️Fabulous Foster⭐️ for him! Hershey is housetrained, btw, so if that doesn't entice you I don't know what will! 😅

Our dream home for Hershey would have a fenced yard for him to play in, and someone home through most of the day so he can get all the love, training, and exercise he needs! 🥰

If you've been looking for a big young Labradoodle (at least that's what we were told he is!), we hope you'll consider Hershey, whether to foster or adopt!

📣🎊 New Pal Alert!!! 🎊📣

Please join us in OFFICIALLY welcoming Pal # 3️⃣1️⃣6️⃣:
BOBBY! 🥰

Bobby and his 2 brothers Ralph and Jimmy were surrendered to Hall County Animal Services , the result of an "accidental litter" (guess what.... when you don't spay/neuter that's what happens!!!).. 😵‍💫😵😩

They are 1 year old, happy, playful, sweet, but don't seem to have had much, if any, training..

In the shelter, they may seem like "a lot", but we are here to tell you that Bobby is off to a GREAT start in his ⭐️Fabulous Foster⭐️ home! 🏆

He slept quietly in his crate all night, seems to understand that potty is for outside (99%!)..... and.... he is obsessed with watching TV! 🥰😂🥹

Of course he is still a puppy who has probably never gotten much/any individual attention, and yes, he does think anything within reach qualifies as a toy! 😆

BUT... we think this guy is a gem! His disposition is excellent, 0 signs of even the slightest concern. With a little basic obedience he is going to shine! 🌟

(Stay tuned, next Saturday is the first session of the Lindstrom Training Camp for Pals!! 👩‍🏫)

Not to take away from his New Pal announcement, but we want to take a minute to tell you that Bobby's brothers are STILL AT THE SHELTER, and... they are 🚨🚨😭 URGENT WITH A DEADLINE OF TODAY at 4pm! 🚨😭
There are 2 other boys on that list as well, C***r and Tum Tum.. they are also young, and SO handsome..🥺 We only had 1 open, willing foster, and Bobby was the lucky one, but we are so worried and heartbroken to think that his brothers, and the other boys, will lose their lives if they don't get out today, so please consider going to meet and adopt one if you are looking for a dog! 🙏💔

I can tell you that the shelter is FULL! We were told there can be no extensions. 😥

We are grateful to our Fab Foster for stepping up for our new Pal, Bobby, literally saving his life! 🙏❤️

Bobby is a bouncy, happy sweetheart, and we are so happy to welcome him to the Palhood! 🥰

And guess what... you can meet him TODAY at our event at Pet Supplies Plus - Buford, GA ! We'll be there from 12-3, he will probably be there for the last hour or so! Check out our previous post to see who else will be there! Hope to see you!
