We build accessible bathrooms, dream bedrooms, in-home therapy rooms and wheelchair ramps/lifts. In 2012, Sunshine on a Ranney Day performed their first makeover for an 11 year old boy who always wanted a military bunker bedroom. This special child was Mathew Majka who was battling a brain tumor. From that point on, the husband and wife duo, Peter and Holly Ranney, realized this mission was bigger

than they imagined. Holly is a graduate of High Point University with a degree in Interior Design and Home Furnishings Merchandising. She spent 12 years as a buyer for Rooms To Go Kids. She traveled extensively around the world working on product development and developed strong relationships in the furniture industry. Peter is a graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Accounting. He grew up in the building industry and worked several summers with his Dad in the family business doing construction. At that time he thought he wanted to get out of construction and pursue a career in accounting. Little did he know that he would end up back in construction. Now he is a licensed general contractor and heads up all the construction projects for Sunshine on a Ranney Day. We are often asked why we started the charity. There was no tragedy or special child that triggered us. It has been a lifetime of experiences and inspiration from a sermon that has guided us on this path. Mary Atchley is the owner and managing partner of Walk Your Plans and co-founder of Design & Build XR, companies focused on helping people better understand and experience spaces before they are built. With a passion for community, thoughtful design, and creating environments that truly serve the people who live in them, Mary is honored to join the board of Sunshine on a Ranney Day. She looks forward to supporting the organization’s mission of creating safe, accessible, and life-changing spaces for children and families.

Casey Bradley is a financial advisor based in Roswell, Georgia, specializing in helping business owners, executives, and high-net-worth families navigate complex financial planning decisions. His work emphasizes clarity, long-term thinking, and helping families make confident decisions during life’s most important. financial milestones. Casey is drawn to Sunshine on a Ranney Day because the organization’s mission aligns closely with his family’s values. His wife, Kate, is a pediatric occupational therapist, making SOARD’s work especially meaningful to the Bradley family. Through his advisory work, Casey has seen firsthand the emotional and financial challenges families face when navigating complex medical or caregiving circumstances.

Brian Robbins is the Partner/CEO of Pella Windows and Doors of Georgia along with a partner in other states including NC, SC, and TN. From hand spray painter to CEO! Over a 25+ year journey, Brian climbed the corporate ladder from the factory floor in Iowa to leading Pella’s Georgia team. He is also a major NASCAR sponsor supporting driver Ryan Ellis and a major supporter of many organizations in the community. Brian is a very faithful, family oriented guy, that fits perfectly as a board member for Sunshine on a Ranney Day. So inspiring.
