We help dogs in need/ distress in West Dallas get a second chance for the life & love they deserve. Angie is called the "fairy dogmother" of West Dallas.

Three of Angie's friends formed "Angie's Friends" to facilitate her critical efforts, work she has been doing for over a decade in many neighborhoods, often in dangerous West Dallas. Angie spends the majority of every day going house to house to feed, water, medicate, provide shelter for, and pat the heads of dogs that have extremely low quality of life, living on short chains in neglectful and abusive situations, never feeling wanted.

Blondie has grown into such a beautiful and sophisticated pup! She's still not even a year and half old, but she's been to obedience training and has excellent manners. Unless it's playtime - then all the manners are out the door 🤣
Blondie is an affectionate and loyal girl who is very devoted to her people. She's also active and would be perfect in a home with a play pal. Blondie is very social and does great with other dogs. Sometimes strange people maker her nervous and she really does best when she's just with her family.
Blondie is spayed, update-to-date on vaccinations, house-trained and crate-trained.

Hey Team - welcome to the weekend! And, a BIG welcome to Freddy 😍! This handsome fella is only about 5 months old and joined the Angie's Friends family when his owners were unable to care for him any longer. He's a sweet boy, unphased by cats, curious, intelligent, and so unique looking. Freddy is not quite ready for our adoption event tomorrow, but don't miss the chance to meet Cain and Whitney! We'll be at Hollywood Feed 7150 Skillman St, Dallas, TX 75231 from 11-2.

Are you the dog lady?
This time, it was someone calling about three small kittens who had been dumped in a trash can. Of course Angie rushed over immediately.
As you can see, these poor babies were in really bad condition. In fact, the poor little black kitten didn't make it 😢. Fortunately, for the other two, life has taken a turn. They're currently at the vet getting treatment - updates coming soon!

It's Feel Good Friday! I'm a couple months late getting this one posted 🫢, but it still feels so good seeing Mama and her zoomies in her new back yard 😁Mama was formerly a chained yard dog that Angie got a surprise opportunity to get her removed from her bad situation and jumped at the chance. Mama needed some time to get healthy and was boarded at the vet for quite a while. Many months later, Mama is all healed up AND has an awesome new family!!

oh boy, what a goofball! Dior is so sweet an social. He is eager to please - his two-legged AND four-legged pals. Dior is about 9 months old already. Just a wonderful guy who'd love to find his furever family. 😍 You can meet him in person on Saturday, June 6 at Hollywood Feed (1314 W McDermott Dr, Allen, TX 75013) from 11-2!

Yes, when you're as cute as Dior, you can stop traffic just by lounging in the sun 😆 Dior is a great boy who was surrendered to Angie's Friends when his family couldn't provide care for his cherry eyes. He's got a hilarious personality and will bring you SO much joy 😍

It's Feel Good Friday and we just want to say another HUGE thanks for all the support and donations we've received over the past few weeks and helping us celebrate Angie's 85th! You helped us meet our fundraising goal and we could not be more GRATEFUL! I know, if you check our fundraiser, it doesn't show the goal as being achieved, but we received an additional donation that put us over the top!! From the bottom of our hearts and from all the West Dallas animals we're able to assist for the next few months - THANK YOU!!
