FishHer joined a delegation that traveled to Iceland to meet with the Iceland Ocean Cluster to learn about 100% fish utilization. Key takeaways were learned, and the Oregon Ocean Cluster is working to bring 100% fish utilization to Oregon. 100% fish utilization will bring added value to our seafood resources while simultaneously developing new products, business opportunities, and workforce development for our region. 100% fish utilization can mean a stronger blue economy, and FishHer is dedicated to ensuring the initiative honors and strengthens the commercial fishermen, fishing families, and cannery workers that built the seafood industry in our region.
