Two years ago, just a month after Hurricane Helene, we still managed to get together and dress up for our Annual Asheville Toastmasters Halloween Meeting! A regular Toastmaster meeting, only better! Join us! 🎃👻🕷️🧟‍♀️☠️

The WORD OF THE DAY! The Grammarian brings us a word to use...why? To help club members enrich their vocabulary, use new or uncommon words, and improve overall communication skills. But tonight, Grammarian Jo printed out one for each of us! Effective and memorable! Thanks Jo!🤠

Scenes from a Toastmaster Meeting in October...John stepped in as Acting President. John is a DTM and always leads us in the right direction...he also gave a prepared speech later on...

Kim was the Toastmaster of the Day. She selected the theme: Getting Out the Vote!
Since early voting just started! Kim is always an inspiring club leader!

New member Summer was our AH Counter!

Newest member Rosie was our Timer! And she had to ding someone (the bell 🔔 had to be rung!)

Mike was our Table Topics Master and kept with the theme!

David gave a table topics speech and was positively inspiring as usual!

Cynthia was our Table Topics Evaluator. She astutely assessed our speakers strengths and grows.

Jo, our VP of Education, hosted a "Moments of Truth" session for the club recently. This process involved all members that evening, in order to conduct a Club Quality Standards Evaluation. Thank you, Jo, and to all members who participated. We learned where we want to grow, what we want to change, and what is working just fine. 🌐

Shane was Toastmaster on Thursday night. Shane is a past club President and currently serves as Sergeant at Arms. He is always the first person at the meeting and usually sets up the entire room himself. He's courteous and modest; he is an accomplished craftsman and jack of all trades; and he also enjoys being a vegetable gardener, hanging out with his dog, and spending time on his pontoon boat. We are lucky to have such an amazing member! 🌐

Asheville Toastmasters Game Night was filled with a lot of laughter, trivia questions, board games, and yummy food! We just loved getting together at Cultivated Cocktails venue and look forward to future events! Thanks to everyone for making it a festive fall evening! 🍁🍂 🌐

Jo is our VP of Education. She is new to Asheville, but not to Toastmasters. She says, "I was looking for a welcoming, well organized club, where I could learn and grow. That's exactly what I found at Asheville Toastmasters". Jo has been a wonderful addition to our membership and officers. She is already leading us on a much better path...to Pathways success! 🌐
