Leadership Asheville

Wow, what a weekend! Leadership Asheville Class 45 officially kicked off their journey together with an opening retreat at the YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly!

It was a full 2.5 days of shared experiences, new perspectives, and opportunities to stretch beyond our comfort zones. Our friends at the North Carolina Outward Bound School and Just Economics of WNC helped make the days especially meaningful, challenging participants to think about themselves, one another, and their community

Next up, LA45 will take a deep dive into the history of Asheville and Buncombe County, building a foundation for understanding the complex issues and opportunities facing our community today.

We're off to a great start, and looking forward to where this journey takes us!
