Our members and friends at are raising a Glass for Texas ♥️

In the wake of the devastating floods in the Texas Hill Country, Asheville-area restaurants and breweries are coming together to support relief efforts through Benevolent Spirits.

Starting today, you can help just by ordering a drink!

From July 17-27, $1 from every featured cocktail, mocktail, or beverage sold at participating restaurants and breweries will be donated to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund, managed by the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country.

To say we're heartbroken by the loss of Oscar Wong, founder of , is an understatement.

Oscar's vision and spirit helped shape the beer scene we know, love and support today. His legacy lives on in every pint, every brewery, and every person that was inspired by his work.

Our hearts are with the Wong family and our friends at Highland Brewing. Thank you, Oscar for everything ♥️🍻

IT’S HAPPENING, FOLKS!!!

🎉Join us as we reopen our doors on Friday, June 6 from 2-8 — just in time for Old Fort’s Trails & Trains Festival!

🥜Our pals will be serving up their tasty boiled peanuts!

🚂There will be lots of fun events happening around town the whole weekend!

🍺 We can’t wait to pour y’all some beers again!

Please note: We will be operating in a limited capacity for the time being as we are still working on rebuilding the brewery (back of the building). Because Chris is brewing on a small system and beer will be limited, we are feeling things out to see how quickly y’all drink us out of beer! So we are planning to be open 2-8 Friday & Saturday to start. Stay tuned for updates.

Happy Oscar Wong Day!

We’re pouring beer and celebrating the incredible legacy that began right here at Barley’s — where Oscar Wong founded the first legal brewery in NC since Prohibition!

Cheers to Oscar for trailblazing a path for craft beer in our community.
Cheers to Leah and the entire Highland Brewing team for their continued excellence.
And cheers to all of us, as we come together to rebuild and thrive after Hurricane Helene.
