Babies need all sorts of things to keep them healthy and happy and clean diapers are non- negotiable.
Families need a sufficient supply of diapers so they can change their babies when necessary to keep them clean, dry and healthy. They also need enough diapers to give to childcare in advance, so they can work or attend school.
Diapers are an expensive essential - not covered by WIC, SNAP or any federal or state assistance program. Diapers are also taxed in North Carolina!
Our diaper bank exists to help WNC families meet their children’s basic needs. We believe all children deserve to have enough diapers to be clean, dry and healthy- and no family should be choosing between buying diapers or putting food on their table. If you agree, join us! ⬇️
