Village at Mt Tabor - A Homeless Community

Yesterday, I stood before the Asheville City Council and spoke concerning the meeting held on the 13th and addressed two key statements made during that meeting and declaring that Village at Mt Tabor was here, we had the answer to solve the homeless problem in Asheville, Buncombe County, surrounding areas, and Western North Carolina! In that 3 minute address, I made it clear that arresting these people and putting them in jail was NOT the answer, that all this did was move one problem to another I explained how if you did the math, according to the state of North Carolina, the 500 average in Buncombe County Jails a year added up to in the millions of dollars to house those 500 individuals! This is not the answer.

We at Village at Mt Tabor have the answer, and with the funding, resources, and land, we could clear out the homeless situation to the point that people will look around and wonder where they all went!
