The last two days of fundraising were intense, and we got absolutely smoked by some much larger organizations. ๐
But for a ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ-๐ป๐ฒ๐ ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ฐ๐๐ฒ ๐ฟ๐๐ป ๐ฏ๐ ๐ฎ ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐บ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐๐ผ, raising ๐ฆ๐ณ,๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฌ is something we are extremely proud of.
More importantly, ๐ญ๐ฌ๐ฌ% ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐บ๐ผ๐ป๐ฒ๐ ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฏ๐ ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฑ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ฐ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐น๐น ๐ด๐ผ ๐๐ผ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฑ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฑ๐ผ๐ด๐ โ not salaries, not administrative pay, and not unnecessary overhead. It will help cover veterinary care, food, supplies, transportation, rehabilitation, and the everyday costs of giving shepherds in need a second chance.
And we are ๐ก๐ข๐ง ๐๐ข๐ก๐ ๐ฌ๐๐ง.
The Birdies for Charity fundraiser continues through ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐๐ฒ๐บ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ญ๐ฒ, and every additional donation still comes directly to our rescue. At the end of the campaign, we will also receive a share of the ๐ฆ๐ฑ๐ฌ,๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ฏ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ผ๐น based on the percentage of total campaign donations that were raised on behalf of Saved by Grace.
So every dollar raised between now and September 16 still matters โ and can actually help generate additional funding for the dogs.
To everyone who donated, shared, encouraged us, and helped a tiny new rescue compete alongside some incredible established organizations: ๐ง๐๐๐ก๐ ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ.
Not bad for two people, a new rescue, and a whole lot of determination. โค๏ธ๐พ

A love that outlasts their fear. Saved by Grace.
