Yesterday our Sunshine Kid Andy would have turned 40 years old! When we think of all the life he lived in the 23 years we had him here on earth we try to imagine what he’d be up to at this point in his life. We try to live each day with a little bit of him in it, whether it be trying a new recipe, picking up someone’s spirits, rocking out to our favorite punk song or simply pointing at a windmill, Andy is always there. We miss those big smiles, unpredictable adventures and the biggest hugs. (And those calves lol) Happy Birthday Andy!

It’s Earth Day! A day we fully embraced as a family and continue to do so with our work here! Get out and enjoy nature, do something kind for the Earth because, as the Once-ler says in The Lorax, “UNLESS, someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.”

Today we celebrate the birthday of the man who loved Disney World more than anyone we have ever met, Mike! We are forever grateful for the time we had with him, the adventures we went on together and the inescapable love for all things goofy! Happy heavenly birthday Mike, Dad and Papa.

It’s been 16 years since our Sunshine Kid flew over the rainbow. He’s the inspiration for all of our environmental efforts and the spark of so much joy! Andy was one of a kind, quick with a smile, persistent in finding a solution and always ready for an adventure! Today we celebrate him! The best way to do that is to find a way to make someone smile, get out in nature, drink a PBR or do some calf raisers!

We were so busy celebrating yesterday we forgot to hit publish! Happy birthday to the matriarch of Our Journey Rooted In Hope! Without her there would be no tournament, no foundation and no action!
