Protect Those Who Protect Us: Support the 2026 Bulletproof Vest Drive.

Every day, law enforcement officers put their lives on the line to keep our communities safe. With 28% of officers shot in the line of duty happen during ambush-style attacks and the rise in politically driven civil unrest, the dangers they face have never been more severe—or more unpredictable.

That’s why the Law Enforcement Charitable Foundation has launched our 2026 Bulletproof Vest Drive with a bold and urgent
mission: Provide at least 7 life-saving bulletproof vests in every state this year. 350 vests!

Many small and low-budget law enforcement agencies simply cannot afford critical protective equipment. When funding falls short, officers are forced to choose between going without proper protection or purchasing their own gear out-of-pocket.
We believe no officer should ever have to make that choice.

For years, the Law Enforcement Charitable Foundation has been committed to supporting those who serve by providing:
• Protective and safety equipment, including ballistic vests
• Training support for officers in underfunded departments
• Memorial and community support initiatives
• Education grants allowing children of police officers to attend accredited online K–12 programs

All with no strings attached, and without federal oversight and expectations.

Our Goal: Equip 350 Officers With New Bulletproof Vests.
To meet this critical need, we must raise $220,000 to supply and deliver vests to departments across the country. Every vest we provide could be the difference between tragedy and an officer coming home safely to their family.

Your gift of just $20, $25, $50 or more today can help save a life.
Your generosity will directly support officers serving on the front lines in America’s most under-resourced communities.

Together, we can give them the protection they deserve.

Will you stand with our officers today?

Our prayers are with this Deputy.

DEPUTY SHOT: Prayers requested. A Volusia Sheriff's Office Deputy was shot twice while responding to a battery call in Deltona.
Sheriff Mike Chitwood said the suspect opened fire as deputies approached a home. The deputy was hit in the leg and shoulder, and a round may have ricocheted off his body camera, possibly saving his life. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. The suspect is being held on no bond.

Thank you Donut Operator for showing the world what weird things police encounter on their shift when they are just trying to do their job. Even the dangerous things they encounter everyday.

Way to go Sarasota Police Department! These officers do everything for their community. They deserve our appreciation.
