Have you ever wondered how our OC CERT support trailer was built? This never before seen photo journal shows a series of photos of it being built from the ground up.

The trailer was custom built by InTech in Indiana. Why Indiana? After scouring Wisconsin, we could not find a company that would custom build what we needed - from the ground up. We didn't want a remodeled box trailer. We got exactly what we needed.

The trailer was funded through a capital campaign on behalf of us.. Friends of CERT, and WOW did our community show up to help. The most interesting, but not unexpected fact, is that over half of the funds came from volunteer fire departments. Yes, that's right, the guys and gals who already give and give so much of themselves, gave to us. Thank you for your ongoing support. And don't ever stop calling the CERT volunteer team. No matter how short or long the callout is, they are there for you 24/7 365! And not just for fires.... give OCEM a call to see what we can do for fire, LEOs, and everything else in between.
Just to be clear though.... we are Friends of CERT, Inc a non-profit that provides financial support for all things Outagamie County CERT. Emergency Management manages the CERT program and volunteers. Phew! That's alot! Enjoy the video!

Wisconsin-based Outagamie County Friends of CERT, Inc. would like to extend our sincere thanks to TC Energy for its generous and important donation in support of Outagamie County’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).
The funding is earmarked for the purchase of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for our CERT volunteers to use when responding to emergency incidents. One of our highest-priority needs is high-visibility safety vests with adequate pocket space.
This donation will help us provide vests that clearly identify volunteers as Outagamie County CERT while giving them the practical storage they need in the field. Pockets allow volunteers to safely carry two-way radios, notepads, pens, other response supplies, and necessary personal items while keeping their hands free to assist during an incident.
Our business and community partners play an important role in CERT’s success. Their support helps ensure our volunteers are properly equipped and ready to assist emergency personnel when they are needed most.
Thank you, TC Energy, for supporting Outagamie County CERT and the volunteers who stand ready to serve our community.

So proud to support this outstanding team of volunteers.

By now, we have all either seen the photos of the devastation or seen it in person. The EF3 tornado that started in Grand Chute and stayed on the ground for over 12 miles has changed the lives of many. So many volunteers, near and far, have come out to help our communities clean up and start the recovery process. We want to highlight our CERT team members for stepping up to the challenge. Not only did they assist in Outagamie County with damage assessments, Emergency Operations Center assistance and working at the Multi-Agency Resource Center, they have been a constant force in Winnebago County helping with the Volunteer Reception Center and multiple rounds of damage assessments. We appreciate your willingness to give back to our communities when it matters the most. 💚

What a wonderful way to start off Week #1 of the FOCERT annual fundraiser. Not only did Jason D of Nichols, WI win the first drawing, but he decided to donate back half of his winnings to Outagamie County Friends of CERT! Thank you Jason, you are amazing! We appreciate your support.
