We want honor Granny sparkles.
Granny sparkles came to us in March of 2024.
Sparkles lost her mom and came into the rescue as a local surrender.
Sparkles was 14. Everything she had known in life had left abruptly. She was scared and confused.
Sparkles went into a very kind and understanding foster home that respected her need for comfort and time to mourn.
Jean with a big heart knew that this little girl needed to know she was home again. She took sparkles in and gave her the best 2 years she had left.
Gene what color her hair to let her know how beautiful she was and the queen she became again.
I'm writing this with tears. They are mixed tears.
There's something so special not only about these dogs having a chance to be loved at such a senior age, But the kindness of those who step up for these situations to allow them the opportunity feel safe and warm arms when they pass.
People don't know how much time they have. They invest this love so strongly and for such a short time. That takes courage. That takes kindness. That takes heart
Sparkles was so happy She lived to be 16. She passed away in the loving the hands of her new mom. Sparkles knew she was loved.
Sparkles is not with her mom that she was with for 14 years.
They are back together again.
I want to give such a big thank you to Jean Matte Duzeski
First stepping up. For loving her. And to give her the most beautiful graces to send her back to her mama.
Gene thank you from the bottom of our hearts for opening your doors and your heart to a girl that needed your love so badly. Thank you for making her comfortable and secure. Thank you for being her mom.
We send you the biggest hugs.
Fly high sparkles.
