Many families in our communities are eligible for housing assistance and are searching for suitable housing with limited availability.

Together, we can strengthen our communities by landlords providing stable housing options for those families who are eligible for housing assistance.

The St. Clair County Public Housing Authority (PHA) provides services in:
North counties of: Andrew, Buchanan (outside city limits of St. Joseph), Caldwell, Clinton, Daviess, DeKalb, Grundy, Harrison, Linn, Livingston (outside city limits of Chillicothe), Mercer, Putnam, and Sullivan
South counties of: Bates, Benton, Cass, Cedar, Henry, Hickory, Morgan, St. Clair, Vernon and Jackson (inside city limits of Grandview).

BEFORE & AFTER: A Fresh Start Through the HeRO Program

A safe, secure home starts at the front door. Through the Home Repair Opportunity (HeRO) Program, eligible homeowners may receive essential home repairs, modifications, and maintenance to improve their quality of life and remain safely in their homes.

These before-and-after photos show the impact a simple door replacement can make — improving security, appearance, and peace of mind for a local homeowner.
